WARNING TO OTHERS.

Name: MOHD HELKAL BIN HAMSAIRI
You can get his IC number from here: http://www.emoe.gov.my/plkn05/wpkl.htm

He is definitely a fraud. Bought a MacBook Air from him (using different ID now). Paid 12/25/2008. It never arrives.

He claims that he lives and works in Japan with his wife. (he's only 22 years old).

I found out later that the pics in his ads were all stolen from Flickr.com

I'm sure by now he's already using a new ID. I have lodged a police report against him.

how about people who ignore people's advice to do research on the seller before any transaction? i mean, they are the one who made conmen's life easy.

handphone made people stupid.

yeah u got a point there ... nevertheless, conmen are still the main guility ones ... and victims have also a portion of the blame too ... i guess the only true way out is to do extensive research on a seller before hand ... or just plain COD ...

.... hence the reason I am making this post, so that others are protected from committing the same mistake that I made. I definitely am not going to get my money back.

FYI he's still out there selling stuff.

Another ebay buyer contacted me because this guy was demanding RM2,400 for a handphone. If he didn't pay up, the seller would report him to ebay and penalize him. I suppose he isn't afraid or feel guilty at all.

So be careful.

The irony is, I have been buying stuff from Ebay (in the US) for years, and every single item I ordered arrived. I've also bought from lelong.com.my with no problems. This is the first time.
