Been decided to book on toyota vios S spec but at the end i changed my mind into this new honda city. looking into its better looking and design, better engine and newer technology, all around toyota vios hardly beat with him. the only downside is the price. standard is RM86,800 and premium is RM91,800 or RM92,800. gosh, this price is really hold me on.

so guys, i am going to place my booking by this week~ which colors u guys feel nice the most and easy to maintain? for me, strictly no silver color~ hehe
my SA praised the crystal black is damn nice as he already saw the car at malacca Honda Production Plant. but personally i prefer the blue or polished metal more. how about u guys?~~~

oh~~ for sure if book now u will be getting second batch and it's on march around. as i know if u wanna get the 1st batch u need to book it early of November.

ya~ my SA also telling me if i book it now i will get my car on march'09. if wait till the date it launch, for sure need to wait till June or further some more. haihz~ this is my 1st car. I hope I am not making any wrong decision and hope it wont like what ppl said, the early batches cars are normally more problematic happens on this new Honda City.
anyhow, in malaysia budget between 80k to 90k for small sedan car seems dun have wide choices. toyota vios, honda city, nissan latio, ........that's all huh?

thx mike! awesome! I have made appointment with my SA. this saturday i am going to book it, standard spec with polished metal metallic probably will get some discount or free gift from this SA coz our family members bought few models of Honda from this SA already

yea. my bro bought his honda city last time the SA also offered him for discount, 1 Honda T-shirt, 1 Honda Umbrella, 1 Honda Mug, and 1 Honda keychain and sticker.

I guess this time I will also ask for all these free gifts and discount as well

u guys notice or not~ Sg Honda city has so called this side bar (left image) and thailand honda city doesn't have it (right image).
not sure how about malaysia version. what actually its purpose of having this side bar? If malaysia version doesn't have, u guys will install it?

Sadly red color is not available for malaysia Honda City. I love red! Ganas! but polished metal metallic also nice. I am booking it tomorrow and plan to loan for 50% for 5 years. dunno about the current newest interest rate yet.
my friend just back from malacca HM, he is one of the vendor of Honda malaysia. He was told that red color and white color will available after July next year. and Honda already prepared 1 batch for showing and 1 batch for test drive at Malacca Production plant. so is it mean those getting car in Jan consider 3rd batch already?

My SA just called me. the price is almost confirmed to be RM87k for standard and RM92k for premium, OTR price. so those who planning to get 1, u can now decide which version u are prefer to. Interest rate, he just told me the lowest he know is 3.0% only and by end of Jan'09 will probably drop below 3.0%

gosh.. disappointing... how come premium can >90k. it's even more expensive than toyota vios S spec few thousands. some more toyota vios is giving few thousands of discount but what to do, this new honda city already poisoned us

so, rm85,800 is the current vtec price. 5.5k after discount means around rm80,000. new honda city is rm87,000.
rm7,000 gives u new engine, new look (much more better), FC better comparing to current vtec engine (but not to IDSI), better excitement and happiness for yourself , and most important is once the new honda city launch, the current version of honda city second value will drop for sure.

hmm.... confirm change to 6 months free service? I have few SA on hand but none of them said have this changing. they said regarding the service all still remain the same as current version of Honda city

hmmm.. not sure leh.. how come different SA is telling different stories 1? such a big different if compare 6 months to 2 years free service. haihz

Guys,need some opinion ya.my sa giving up to 5.8k discount for me for current honda city vtec.so it's 80k for de car and it's 2.5% for the interest rate!further more current version does offer 2 years free maintenance(it's approx. 2k) while new honda city only 6 mths.SA willing to give 500 discount for new city.if i'm planning to use the car for above 5 yrs,which is more recommend?at that time,is it both version oso hv not big different on depreciation rate?thanks

Going through the brochure, the S variant doesnt have the leather steering wheel. so what will it be? the steering design is same right?
