I went to booked for City today in Angkasa Motor Sdn Bhd

Get to know that, they gonna release on 18 December which comes with I-VTEC 2 version

if not mistaken E class price range RM 92-93K and S class RM 85-86K...I'm not really remember on the model but confirm with the price

This was just after he back from training
*
Mind to tell what different between S and E class? Can't find much details from Google.

Was thinking to get City quarter 1 2009. And how much discount they offered you from the price you stated?

Thx. notworthy.gif

EDITED :
Erm.. The up-coming Honda City looks bigger than current and previous version. But it's still 1.5 i-VTEC. Will affect the power ma? Power as in speed. notworthy.gif

HI,

From what i understand, both comes with black / dark interior. No more beige.
As for different between E and S should be as follows:

1. Paddle Shift (S)
2. 16" rim (S) and 15" rim (E)
3. Ultraseat (S) and normal seat for (E)
4. Steering volume control (S only)

This is what i got to know. As for performance or pick up, the feel of E is better powered maybe due to lighter and smaller rim compare with S 16"  cool.gif
Cool. S spec looks nice. But is it the price confirmed yet? Any idea? S spec will be >90k?

Thx in advance.

THanks for uploading the photo. It look so nice.

Between, I am still hesitating whether to buy this new honda city or toyota vios. As what I heard, Toyota is a better brand than Honda, even in Japan itselt. BUt, toyota vios new looks , is sucks, not suitable for guys, so now choosing between used honda civic 2006 1.6 cc and this new honda city.
Anyway, I heard from workshop ppl that the new honda civic always got problem, and need to send to work shop. It make me more worry to buy a secondy hand car...

My friend bought Honda Civic 2.0 for past 2yrs. Didn't hear any problem about his car so far.

RM89,800 for premium spec is OTR price without insurance and RM84,800 for std spec is OTR without insurance, that's the price i got from senior SA so far. With insurance:-

Premium spec = RM89,800.00 + RM2,565.50 = RM92,365.50
Std. spec = RM84,800 + RM2,435.50 = RM87,235.50

Prices before any discount? So any discount will be given?

While newly launch cars has usually no discount, just wait for few months or 1 yr i bet honda will be willing to give away at least 1k discount.

The current vios sells well coz the SA gives attractive rebates even when its newly launched.

If premium spec too high (over 90k) I might consider getting Toyota Vios. Plan to get after CNY.

Noob question here but answer will be greatly appreciate.

I plan to get Honda City E-Spec which aprox 92k. Say 92k. I'll trade-in my Hyundai Getz + RM25k down payment. So I gotta loan bout RM45k. But i'm currently a contract staff. Basic RM1.7k + some other allowances, so total will be RM2.3k+ per month but will never less than RM2.3k (base on my 1yr+ salary pay slip). So bank will approve my loan or not? Heard that guaranto cannot be parents? But impossible parents cannot be guaranto bah?

Thx in advance. biggrin.gif

hmm but if the new city is launched, will you still be able to get the current city from honda malaysia?
actually if ur salary is more than 1.5k, and can provide bank a photocopy of 3 months pay slips, i dont think it would be a problem, regardless contract or none contract basis. just need to consult with them what other documents they need thats all. good luck wink.gif

Cool. Thx. I might be joining P.M.M's club tongue.gif Getting this beauty around March. icon_rolleyes.gif

you are crazy rm2.3k wanna drive honda city?

maintenance fees very high, do you think you got extra $$$$$
*
I count before. Approx RM700+ - RM800 only. No problem to me. I'm local, don't need rental fees and etc. So why not? Somemore down payment i just pay RM10k + trade-in my current car + parents pay somemore. Shouldn't be a problem, tho.

Yup. My monthly commitment fee is kinda low. Phone bill <RM100. Erm.. Nothing else, I think? lol. 1week work for 5days only.

Back to the topic. I'm going for Honda City P.M.M. Looks great! But origin doesn't comes with HIV light? Unlike 2.0 Civic rolleyes.gif

The All-New City interior so class, with paddle shifter brows.gif Medium sedan, much more spaces compare with my current Hyundai Getz. And the most important thing is that the FC is so much more higher than Getz. Wahlao, if you have friend(s) who driving Hyundai Getz 1.3 (2003 version) I think your friend sure vomit blood. Really beh tahan with the petrol that Getz "drink". shakehead.gif

Haha thx but haven't book yet. Parents said after CNY. cry.gif but it's ok. Hope around March get better discount and freebies. biggrin.gif

Erm yeah. 2.3k is so little, but since my monthly commitment fees is so little, so there's "extra" $ to put in bank. Those maintenance few months once, insurance/road tax yearly basis. I think my "extra" $ can cover all those gua? If not, ask some help from family lor. tongue.gif

food, phone bill, entertainment.

Petrol a month at least rm400 to 500

Honda city maintenance at least rm1000.00 you should bring in. Minimum rm500.

how frequent you use your car?
for sales?
you die standing.
*
I use my car bout 5days a week from my house to my office (go and back bout 10km+ only) + sometimes go out with friends. My current Getz cost me bout RM100 - RM150 petrol monthly. Since City FC is better than Getz, I think won't reach RM100? Entertainment? Nah, I don't go clubbing or what, just go yamcha and some other light entertainments. biggrin.gif
