the new city launched in india today. its rear uses drum brakes and seems like the interior for the highest trim over there is beige in color, 15in ugly rims

QUOTE(Travies @ Sep 25 2008, 07:50 PM) looks like india city is very limited in feature and specification, no 16 inch Rim, no dark interior in full spec, no SV version, rear drum brake. yup! been counting the days So after Thailand, India, follow by Singapore... then it's our turn >> Malaysia... it's getting near ya. |

QUOTE(REYZAI @ Sep 25 2008, 08:16 PM) you r right... dilemma.. you can always book first, if you dont like it, can always refund 100%, thats wut i was told. n i think the test drive is available during the launch.latio sports interior very much attracted me (sorry a bit out of topic), the exterior = zzz but nice if add impul kits n the rims. while the new city.. still got some question marks as, i dont really want to book a car without test driving it before. |

QUOTE(zweimmk @ Sep 26 2008, 08:27 AM) At a glance, it looks like the new Honda City for Singapore is based on the normal and luxury SV version. even better, they also offer choices of manual or auto for both L and LX. its like you can have your preference of LX MT or L with dark interior. The normal version is on par or at best marginally better than the Vios G, The LX version is definitely way better than the Vios S version. At the end of the day, I guess it's anyone's guess what the price will be like for the Malaysian version or equipment differences. SG version being sold at: SGD54,800 & SGD56,700 respectively for AT. zweimmk how did you get the pricing? the list price i saw for sg honda city LX AT is $66,000. whereas for sg toyota Vios G, its $59,988. wahh... |

QUOTE(zweimmk @ Sep 26 2008, 12:23 PM) Bear in mind, they have something called Certificate of Entitlement (COE) that they bid for and since there's a rebate for it, you should refer to the price listed after rebate. thanks for the info, its very helpful http://www.honda.com.sg/cars/price_sheet.asp Obviously, you cannot directly convert SGD to Ringgit or you'll add up paying RM130K+ for a Honda City |

QUOTE(mikelee @ Sep 26 2008, 01:05 PM) I am pretty sure it will be. As you can see Jazz, the highest specs has everything maybe except the moon roof which only JP/SG has it. wow tats great! haha Yeah, I am with you. I do prefer the 5 spokes rims than the Y spoke rims. QUOTE(travis_ckf @ Sep 26 2008, 02:25 PM) Check out the new oct issue of autocar asean and the cover is the preview of the nww city. Confirmed sources says it will launch in Mysia on Dec! how i wish i can leave office now and buy it... |

hmm this would be the last of the Honda City V4 thread.
Comparison of Jazz prices (Without Insurance) Jazz i-DSI - RM 94,800.00 Jazz VTEC - RM 103,800.00 Jazz Grade S - RM 101,938.50 (Increment of RM 7,138.50) Jazz Grade V - RM 106,808.50 (Increment of RM 3008.50) Old City prices (Without Insurance) City i-DSI - RM 77,562.50 City VTEC - RM 83,406.50 From what i heard, the sales of new jazz are not doing too good. maybe because its more expensive than the previous generation of jazz. but there are also other reasons like people are waiting for the new city to launch...etc. so, for the price of the new city...its kinda obvious isnt it. |

hmm the gap is getting very competitive. i would too believe city high-end range would cost more than 90k, say 95k? it would be quite close to the jazz for RM 104800 OTR.
and as for jazz, if were to go for high-end RM 109800, again would be so close to civic 1.8 RM 113800. and i have the feeling the price of the new facelifted civic will rise higher to stay away from jazz segment. i might be wrong Added on September 27, 2008, 1:53 am QUOTE(mikelee @ Sep 27 2008, 01:34 AM) haha thanks, im honored. hmm perhaps wait till the new city is launched? or if anyone are intereted, pls go ahead Added on September 27, 2008, 1:57 am QUOTE(Travies @ Sep 27 2008, 01:45 AM) if only 85k and 90k, then honda city totally heading over toyota vios lor... vios will be lower class than city if it is the case seems to me HM macam takla rasa, the new jazz would be a good example. This post has been edited by elru: Sep 27 2008, 01:57 AM |
