Try Maybank, that's what I heard.
My SA already told me not to go to the showroom on 18 Dec. I am pretty sure it will be packed like sardines in there.

sounds like fun haha.

Is there any chances they will offer manual transmission like other countries?
hard to say, maybe for the first facelift when economy is not doing well and the sale is slow.

was thinking about it quite some time, noticed the wheel arcs are kinda....seem empty, is it possible to change to larger wheels without affecting the fender?

ya, the owner has unique taste in black 'shoes' lol. nevertheless, P.M.M. is really nice color as it has shading and toning, niceee hehe.

i think the modulo front grile suit better in silver or black color.
notice that got an antena on top of the roof... hopefully malaysia version using windscreen antena instead of the stick antena.

erm i guess if fullspec plus modulo already nearly reach 100k lolz..
yea, full spec + acc + modulo = hopefully > 100k. but if buy from honda malaysia..... a lil pricy. i dont remember singapore has the option of offering windscreen antenna, so less likely we will have it here too. maybe wait for another year or two for facelifted version depending on the market demands.

P.M.M., new acronym!  laugh.gif
I think there isn't any windscreen antenna. I have seen Thai and SG models, all having stick antenna. However I think this can be modified right?
Regarding modulo kit, I still prefer original front. Others like side skirting and bumper looks good.  thumbup.gif
I think I saw somewhere in the forum, some guy having 17". Maybe will post it here later.
*
haha sry sry...was too lazy to type too long, yea, new acronym P.M.M haha sweat.gif

if install after market windscreen antenna will void the warranty rite, both radio/electronic + windscreen if ya hav one. but rumor has it the new city only comes with rather short free services and period of warranty, oh well hmm.gif

same here, original front first, then save enough for mugen style haha.

oh ya, some of those pics that you posted b4, are they 17"? the P.M.M tires seem to fit just nice brows.gif

i dont think the mods really do mind if start a new official topic about it, because this thread mostly about rumors, speculations and assumptions.

besides, we do need someone who is passionate and enthusiastic to look after the thread too. by far our bro mikelee has been very resourceful i'll say wink.gif notworthy.gif

Added on December 11, 2008, 12:14 amoh i noticed P.M.M. is indeed very popular color choice among honda accord owners. like andyjyneo said, i dont think its a choice that will be regreted later haha.

It's unfortunate that we can't get the RM800 discount down here in KL.
The bold biege is very nice too. It's like a mini-Civic.
to me the bold beige does not gives the impression of grand or old ppl's color and its looks good on the city too. its even better combo with the beige interior for spec S if spec S doesnt come with dark interior option.

as i know the old city and the new city have pos and con.

old city gear box seems to be batter because they are using the CVT i ( correct if i am wrong )

New city they have change the gear box to the another normal gear type.
yeap.
current city Pros:
1.CVT gearbox for smoother ride and fuel efficient
3.At its prime stage, no major bugs/fault etc
4.Goodies of retraction mirror, water repellent upholster, ultra seats...etc
5.Cheaper than coming new city
6.Good discount
7.2 year free services + warranty

current city Cons:
1.Looks? (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol)
2.Depreciation because going to be phased out soon
3....

anyone wan to add more?

if you are intended to use it in long term, then i think its a good buy.

elru, I believe retraction side mirror is also available for new City. Yeah, most complains on the new City is the lack of ultra seats.
*
hmm but is it for both trim? yea i would like to have the ultra seats too. then during launch, honda malaysia say 'oh based on our statistics, we found out that most malaysian dont like CVT and also dont really utilize the ultra seats, thats why we excluded them in the new city' lol.

I have read somewhere that its provided for both trims. However lets leave it to next week to get the answer.
Ultra seats I guess is important for those who has family. I don't see much point of having it actually.
mm ya, u got the point there too. since it already has the largest boot in its class, then i'll guess ultra seats are not really necessary. but at times when moving quite a lot of things, kinda wish my current car also has ultra seats too rather than the 60/80 fold haha.

oooo next week thursday fast fast come! haha
