Wow judging from the image, the new city look promising.
Hopefully a better and enchanced version of fuel saving engine. This time |

The new City will be CBU or CKD ?
Will U all guys buy CKD since the never ending story of the problems from Honda ? |

QUOTE(waif @ Jun 27 2008, 11:01 AM) The new City will be CBU or CKD ? It's never ending story for any CKD in that sense if u wanna put it that way... I guess all car manufacturers are only facing problem with CKD problems due to QC/QA issues locally... Why should CBU be better than CKD? So they can charge a higher price? higher profit margin = better QC? Is that the case? Really tough n long argument~Will U all guys buy CKD since the never ending story of the problems from Honda ? Really need to hav a look n feel of the City before comitting... With the current hike in everything... Probably purchasing a car is a wrong idea altogether for me and many struggling Msians |

However why the QC standard is still so far from Mercs standard ??Really need to hav a look n feel of the City before comitting... With the current hike in everything... Probably purchasing a car is a wrong idea altogether for me and many struggling Msians I rarely hear any problem from CKD Mercs. |

The front looks good! Seems to have a better posed that the current City. The rear take abit to digest!
If indeed that how it look like, the Vios can kissed good bye on their sales! Now I wonder what is the gearbox option like. The Jazz already ditch the CVT for a 5 spd traditional AT. I can live with that! |

its indeed nice but dun rely 100% on the looks:
"We’ve already seen spy pictures of a disguised Honda City, but AutoCar India has gone a step further by featuring a digital reconstruction of the next generation Honda City. The render does a very good job in transforming the sloppy spy shots into something more car-like and recognizable. If these renders represent what the actual and final Honda City will look like..." |

porbably yes, by see the proton is still arround. as long as they are here. the price of an imported 1.3l must be more expensive then their proton 1.6 model.... but that doesnt stop smart malaysian from buying a better car then a proton made....
hahaha.. proton says. competiton from the market. i wonder who is competting with them ah ? even the 1.4l hyundai accent also very close to the waja price.. but 1.4 woh.. ppl still buy ah .. why cause it is not a proton... hahaha... |

QUOTE(hazremi @ Jun 28 2008, 01:40 PM) low resale value of accent as well as high maintenance are some of the things u need to think for 1.4 accent.. price of petrol go up, resale value of car come down except kancil.. why there are still people buying?u cant expect all people to be same like you, different people, different opinions.. waja resale value and maintenance is much better than accent anyway.. anyway hyundai probably low resale value due to the problems ppl hear from the market. thats y, but anyway korean made are not as good, at least it is much better than a proton.... but different ppl have different opions, support u on that, thats my opinion, no matter what there will be a proton buyer, but if the tax is demolished.. on non proton and P2 cars, then i probably have more choices.. then i dont need to consider proton,, but as well as khazanah national thinks. who cares, let the rakyat pay more for other than p1 and p2 cars. at least if the cars are more expensive than p1 cars. im save... but seriously, if at 60k you have these choices 1) toyota vios 2)honda city 3) hyundai accent 4) nissan latio 5) mazda 3 6) proton waja... who u think will sell more,, probably others but not the proton.. malaysian made, not the export model... export model maybe differrent,,, This post has been edited by sonyman: Jun 28 2008, 02:36 PM |
