if you plan on putting it on a cpu or some component of the cpu, please bear in mind that it has to be a higher rated pelt then a the components TDP

the pelt needs 12v dc + and -, can connect it to PS, but then again, depends on your pelt specifications and psu

the copper plate is to give it an even thermal surface, so sandwich it in between 2 copper plates, but not so thick la

the cold plate is the cold part of the pelt
