Plan only, but i want to be able to play FF10 ff12, all ps2 game, and i heard 40 gig ps3 cannot, 60 gig can, 80 gig maybe can, but problem is, is there 60 or 80 gig for sale? If so, can i get ff10 and ff12 in english? I dont want japanese cause i dont understand, and if the ps3 version here is japanese one, will the games all be in japanese, also is ff10 and ff12 forsale now? Where can i buy this ps3 and games around my subang jaya area? Sunway pyramid got sale or not? Pros pls help me out, thank you.

Simple answer, if you want to play English/US FF10 & FF12, please get a US PS3 60gig....

sorry that means all the best games like ff13 coming out in march will have to be played in japanese? if you buy from m'sia? I thought, these games for asian region will also be translated to english, pls correct me if i am wrong, certainly hong kong or singaporeans dont play japanese version of this games, and the ff series are not supported in english for asian playstation? This is very disappointing if it's true, and please tell me if i could still get any playstation 2 games in malaysia.

PS3 games has no region lock
But PS2 and PS1 game got, an NTSC-J game will have to be played on NTSC-J PS3.

yup, 40 GB cant run PS2 games
but what's the point in playing PS2 game on a PS3? [remember you ll need the original PS2 game disc to pop into the PS3, and u have to match the region too]

i want to play ff10 and ff12 on ps3 but they are ps2 games, is there some emulator that i can download to play these games on ps3? I dont want to have to buy to console waste of money and i dont have that type of money.

I don't think the PS3 60/80gb is 100% backward compatible with all PS2 (Original) games. Some games might encounter problems especially with the 80gb. So it's better you check first about the Final Fantasy series and it's compatibility with the PS3.

Err... sounds like a PS2 suits you more

Agree, FF10 and FF12 both are PS2 title, why not buy the PS2 first.
By the time you finish these 2 games, PS3 might have better offer.
