You cant find 200-300k house to buy in Penang Island. Houses in Penang Island start from 500k onwards.But if you want to look for apartment/ condos , 200-300k is still able to find example Villa Emas , N-Park / E-Park .

Penang apartments are not that expensive as people think .

How bout selling your current landed and to buy a newly launch landed property and wait for capital appeciation ?

A lot of newly launchs properties are brought over by speculators .......

Golden Triangle ........my fren just brought 1 unit ......from my opinion that location is terrible. To get to the condo, you need to pass thru the terrible traffic light .......always jam everyday none stop ...

I dont see why is that place a good location at all ..... unless someone plans to do something about the trafic going into that area

Overall , esp now the rental yield is very bad . Can get around only max 5% to 6% only for residential .

However if you were to look into commercial ,the yield is much higher. Therefore those that got budget , go into commercial .That is mostly where all the sifus go into
