Currently every month I have at least extra1.5k cash flow no place to go just park at bank so I'm thinking should I do something with it?

These 2 choice also more than 1 mil+ rite. I assume they are about the same price.

Check also their maintenance fee, i think the penhouse's maintenance fee are much more higher.

In long term, i think the Southbay Residence (landed) are better, unless u die die must have the fantastic seaview.

If you choose Southbay Plaza penthouse for the price, why not pick The Loft (newer) next to it? Thought they are about the same price?

Looking for landed 2-storey property. Been survey for quite awhile.

There are several projects shortlisted for my wife and I preference,
1) Eco Horizon - Ashton Garden Homes/ Brydon Semi-D, downside - leasehold, but since it is for ownstay, so probably doesn't matter.

2) Taman Riang by Airmas group at Butterworth. Early stage, no show unit yet

3) Permatang Pauh - Not sure about this, anyone can provide more details?

4) Jernih Residence 2 at Bukit Mertajam,

Old school Penangites stuff money under their pillows and are not willing to spend it lol. That's why marketers tend to perceive Penang lang as not having spending power. Keeping in property is just a larger pillow. Penang lang are not as highly leveraged as KL folks I think so that's why they are not as eager to sell off. Personally I find the older Setia projects on the island to be quite good in quality (relative to Ideal or Mah Sing). Pearl Island and Greens are nice neighborhoods and worth the investment for long term appreciation imho.

The houses u check out looks similar to mine when I'm looking a few years back... 

I end up bought a strata landed in the hillside... u prob could guess

Truth is, land is a premium in island, PG ppl have holding power ( i have MANY frens that keep houses empty for yearss) and lastly.. ppl are still buying landed...

My taman filled up a lot last year...  Just recently a house was sold at minor increment from the price i bought.. not bad considering the housing situation currently
