then how about onesub woofer under front passanger seat n one amp under driver seat, how this match compared to 2 of upper option???

actually having a sub underneath the front seat seemed like an awful option doesn't it? simply uncomfortable, for me lar.

i stil prefer subs at the back. p/s: ain your lancer gt's butt big enough to put the subs???

well, if you search around here, many hav agreed tat activ sub is costly and a lil let down than real sub.

i dun see how an active sub under your seat will interfere with your driving...

im using sony under seat woofer...ok...no complaint yet from my passenger...the sound is so so...not too loud...

alxand, get a monoblock to power a 12" sq sub at the back will do you good already.

No wonder you're confused. Firstly, ask yourself... how will a small powered subwoofer that is made of plastic shallow enclosure, very small driver, hollow sounding and does not go low going to improve your sound system. Secondly, ask yourself is your front stage (player + amp + front speakers) sounding really good now?

If you're not sure about the first question, try answering the second one. If the front stage is not right in the first place, try working on that first. Once the front sounds good (not thin sounding, not hollow, not overly digital and processed sounding.... blah blah) then you can work on adding a subwoofer to add better low end and to give you a better ambience.

The 2008 Pioneer players offered by yohannes in the buy/sell ICE section are pretty cool and they have my thumbs up for the price bracket.

nowadays a lot of new model HU comes wif aux.. but wif the budget of RM500 u can get good pioneer.. or probably add more a bit, get Kenwood
