Even if you're not a very good guitar player, if you can compose cool songs/tunes/riffs you're already one up even the most technical player.

QUOTE(enteryourusername @ Jan 25 2008, 02:16 AM) Me squier california strat here, but the difference is I definitely could afford those high end guitar on my own if I wanted to. Money isn't that much of an issue. But the thing is, I never think it's the gear that matters, so why waste the money ? As long as it's good enough, I will learn until I feel I need better gears to bring out the sound I want. Right now, I don't even know what kind of sound i want to go for, and i don't really care much about the guitar's tone, as long it's good enough to play, I am happy. To me they're all the same, until I learn to appreciate better tone. I find that it is a good challenge to bring out good playing/sound out of an average/cheap guitar , so I could correct my mistakes and improve and then when I do play with a good gear, I will sound better. And also in case i break or scratch my guitar so bad, not so sakit hati as all the mistakes I make would not be repeated in the newer/expensive gear. QUOTE(hanhanhan @ Jan 26 2008, 01:04 AM) my first guitar was sx LP copy.. The strat looks better.i had no idea on guitar specs or anyting.. i just wanted the LP shape so look like sugizo's guitar.. and pata's guitar It has withstood the test of time and the designs are still as modern to me. I don't like those Gibson LP shapes. Looks too much like an acoustic. |

I suddenly developed an interest in the samick avion av1. heheheh..It seems to be cheap and good, but i am not sure where I can buy where i am. Last resort is buying from ebay. |
