usually if u gettin sbp offer, u wont get mrsm offer..
why?? priority come to goverment 1st..after they pick student, then mrsm
can pick student..that y u can see mrsm got batches of intake up to 4 batches
in the current year..(some reject offer because too far away like hometown in perlis got mrsm in sarawak)

at my times, there are 4 elite mrsm..mrsm jasin, taiping, pengkalan chepa and langkawi..
now not sure..(im study at mrsm langkawi 2001-2002)

i dunno bout sbp, but mrsm student are well taken care by mara even after finish spm..

you could. but the paperwork takes bout a month to settle. and by then you would have made friends in your first mrsm

but i have several friends who transfered to other mrsm, and other students who came in.

i was in MRSM beseri when beseri was pkp. and you could kinda tell the ones who transfered in and those who were originally sent to beseri. mara sends the kids based on their pmr and the test which we did after pmr punya result. so, u can see how academically, the students will be different. especially if they were transfered from non pkp mrsm.

but in general, taiping, pc, langkawi are good mrsm. in my year Q-Ber(kuala berang, terengganu), beseri(perlis) and serting(n9) were considered good mrsm as well. in fact, beseri was the top mrsm for my spm year

pkp is program khas pendidikan (thats like bitara la)

by any chance both SBP and MRSM can offer ah ?

Eg if I get offer from SBP,will I get offer from MRSM,or if MRSM didnt give any offer can I appeal to get into MRSM?

MRSM is better because you get to attend a closed door seminar one day before your public examination commences.

Either MRSM or SBP both also got pro and cons.. BTW i'm a former MRSM Kota Kinabalu student (2003-2004)... Although its not PKP you can climb Mount Kinabalu every year there huhu... One of my nicest memory in MRSM

I have been into SBP and it was really great. Had some good time there. I entered SM Sains Seremban, although it is a boys school, but its really fun being there.

Go MRSM lah, because you can wear polo shirt to class, more comfy than kemeja...Plus got 'Activity Week', one week without classes = pure win. Every semester you can get Anugerah Pengetua, pretty much like Dean's List so you can have the university feeling there

I've been in both SBP and MRSM, and I'd say both got its advantages and disadvantages although it doesn't really matter once you enter university.
