Sorry for late reply, recently really so many inquiry to us !

Anyway, regarding to your inquiry, the laptop only come with 1 unit 3.5mm output jack, you can use it for your headphone/ earphone or speaker etc.

For some usage reason, the jack can be used as S/PDIF solution, which means you have to configure the jack as S/PDIF output whenever you need the solution.

S/PDIF is pure digital signal, it can support up to 5.1 channels of sound source, but before you could enjoy the 5.1 surround sound effect, besides a 5.1 channel speakers is necessary, a proper DECODER is a MUST in order to decode the S/PDIF signal.

Without a decoder, S/PDIF is nothing to speaker.

Thanks for your question wink.gif

Huh??

That is the only the short title due to the word limitation.

Malaysia only have 1 model with 1 spec of Eee PC 1000 series, that is 1000H.

Kindly refer to the first post for the full details~

Thanks

Chia

bro Chia, isn't it a bit risky for me to pay first then collect later? After all, you are a junior member and your prices are super cheap

LYP, cheapest I can get for 20GB is 1650.

So how come you are selling the 30GB version RM350 cheaper??

Exactly.

I would say the previous batch model was selling at RM 1699 either 20GB (Linux) or 12GB (Windows XP)

Now the new batch is using 30GB 1.8" HDD, maybe you can ask any related party for further verification.

If you insist to buy old batch with higher price, I STILL HAVE ! Rm 1699 with Linux OS 20GB SSD BLACK Color only.

what is so difficult with asking a customer to put a RM200 deposit and COD the rest?

It is safer to bank in to personal account, at least then, if fraud occurs, you are personally liable.

We have our own policy have to follow, and we might assign different representative to meet customer for picking up their goods, accecpting CASH is not practical due to our policy.

The personal account seems safer, but I would just share with you guys if get involved to fraud case, can proceed to
http://www.kpdnhep.gov.my/ look for e-Tribunal, make your complaint there.

SSD = Flash Memory, Anti-shock, Slower than HDD
Micro HDD= Physical magnetic disk, Larger spaces , Faster than SSD

Depends on your usage.

It originally comes with 30GB HDD.

YES, you can check the item through internet.
The box of Eee PC is sealed, we are sorry due to the inconveniences.

The stock is having a very serious shortage problem, from business perspective the price won't dropped at the moment, yet it is just newly launched in Malaysia.

Thanks.

I wish to correct this. SSD is faster than HDD. Since it is a solid state disk (no moving parts, but just circuitry, it is not only shock proof but data access for greatly improve plus low power). That's why SSD is much more expensive compared to a HDD. I also believe that is why the 30GB HHD version of eee pc 900 is cheaper than the 20GB SSD version of eee pc 900.

actually I would prefer Aspire One compared to the 901 coz of the keyboard size... but the down side of the Aspire One is due to the fact that the batt cant last long .... wat a waste

Comes with the recovery disc inside package.

I just simply found this 701 recovery approach.
http://eeepc.in/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10

or you can bring back to service center ask them to recover.

Question about the Eee PC 900.
1. The 1.8" 30GB hard disk is your own mod or by ASUS? Does the warranty cover the hard disk?
2. Is the hard disk slow compare to the SSD model?
3. Any statistic on the battery life of this hard disk base unit compare to SSD using 5800mAh battery?

Any EEE user can enlighten this point?

--------------------

Easy.... use the cdrom and make a bootable sd card using ur other XP Laptop.

Then configure ur eeepc so that it booted up using the sd-card

walla... u will be in bsness

..... this is explain in the hardcopy manual (it mentions 3 types of recovery and this is the 3rd method .....

Thank you very much....My first concern cleared.

But how good is Atom compare with the normal core processor?
I most heaviest program i use is dreamweaver and photoshop? can support?
Anyone can enlighten me?
RAM upgradeable? if yes until how many GB?

EEEPC really can consider if can satisfy all the above. thumbup.gif

Thank you for your time in replying.
*
1. Original manufactured by Asus with sealed box.
2. It is slightly faster on read/write operation.
3. According to Wikipedia,
------ i. Li-Ion, 4400 mAh, 7.4V: 2 h 45 min battery life
------ i. Li-Ion, 5800 mAh, 7.2V: 3 h 30 min battery life

Wanna know more Asus Eee PC? Whole family details can be found at

How good? a wide answer.
since since u r using heavy usage application, i think atom is better, bcoz got HT virtual duo core support.

RAM = max = 2GB

we are really sorry that do not have COD service, we would rather to give up the sales opportunity instead of creating some unnecessary troublesome matters that it might happen.

I would rather you guys will more appreciate on my supports and service rather than the price. smile.gif

COD is not efficient to online business, it would only suitable for physical retail trading.

Generally, COD has a lot of disadvantage for both buyer and seller side, if the seller side has the good reputation and proven track record, with supported documents, it is advisable to make everything in electronic form.

HIhi...

Thanks for your message. wink.gif

Firstly, I hope that you will understand what does the 'record' mean, it is talking about the previous record.

For current this Eee PC sales, I have explained the actual situation in the previous posts,
in short :

1) limited stock (First come first serve basis)
2) stock delayed (ETA this friday)

I wan to emphasize that , ANYONE intended to ask for refund, kindly PM me here or send email to me. We do care about our customer's feeling.

If you are more comfort with physical retail shop purchasing, it is all your rights to do so.

I just hope that this thread cost help some SERIOUS BUYERs to get their product as soon as possible, that's all.

so, wat do u guys think about?

CHia~

It is 1 x 1GB, bcoz the small form factor doesnt allow more modules inside.

we do not have the easy installment plan for credit card, we are sorry due to the inconvenices.

I do not know how to explain to you here by either "good/bad" simple expression.

In order for you to know more, i would advice you google some related reviews for better understanding.

Infact the core of winxp home and pro are the same, just the pro version would have more services.

In that case, either home or pro, as long as u disable those unnecessary services would be better idea.

Thanks.

the cost would be
EEE PC 901 (with 1GB RAM) + 2GB RAM (RM 149) + Vista OS
The 1GB RAM will return to you, we do not have trade in service.

We do not know about the price of 901 yet.

Personally i have tried both,
in fact i don see any difference on the processing speed, but i would prefer 30GB hdd driver...

in term of physical design, Acer aspire one would do better, but for RAM upgrading, Eee PC 900 much mor easier.

Assuming USD1 = RM3.1841 (based on the price conversion) in your website, the total price including ship+3.7% charge = USD411.1522, correct?

What is the minimum duration that the battery can be used? Assuming I turn on everything and work on two programs at one go. Can it do 4 hours at least?

Hi,
whats your best price for ASUS EEE 900?
Do you also sell hard disk? Because I'm also thinking of buying a 80GB or 160GB external notebook hard disk along with it.
Thanks!

Yes, the jack is compatible,
however, you need to check your previous adapter whether is DC19V 3.42A or DC19V 4.74A

if 3.42A you can buy either 65W or 90W FSP Adapter
but if 4.74A you only can use with 90W FSP Adapter, otherwise insufficient power supply to your laptop.
