QUOTE(alzert @ Jul 14 2011, 10:38 PM) Actually I want to buy VSTanks which more high details even smaller than mine but I dont mind. Bcoz I check most in the internet who sell VSTanks did not shipping to Malaysia. Until I saw in the forum some1 said at Berjaya Times Square did selling it. I bought my VS Tank from Kelana Jaya. Got a RC shop over there that sells VS Tank.@greenarrow2k6: bro, if you're into making the tank more real, modification on the commander's cupola is needed |

QUOTE(greenarrow2k6 @ Jul 23 2011, 12:45 PM) Yeah, that's one of the features I will mod. Besides, I need to give this tank a new coat of camo paintwork. Need to check whether I canmod the gear-drive as well. I read it from here:HL Tiger I mod Actually at first I was aiming for HL Tiger I, then after knowing it do need a lot of mods for own satisfaction for it to be nice, I opted for VS Tank |

QUOTE(greenarrow2k6 @ Jul 23 2011, 04:36 PM) Thanks for the link to rcgroups.com. The mod is sure not for the faint hearted Your welcome bro. Yup, too pro already, I don't think I can do such thing DO I need a antenna on the tank before I can use? I don't seem to find such item in my package. I don't know much about HL, but I do think you will needing an antenna to run the RC properly, or the range would only be near This post has been edited by Tiger I: Jul 24 2011, 02:09 AM |

QUOTE(greenarrow2k6 @ Jul 25 2011, 12:18 PM) I dunno man on how to increase the range of transmission @joohui89: If you're in KL, do check in BTS, last time I went there they do have upgrades for metal tracks. You ought to try finding it also in Kelana Jaya, but I can't recall the name of the RC shop there |

QUOTE(greenarrow2k6 @ Jul 31 2011, 09:28 PM) The problem is a bad solder joint on the rx pcb inside the tank. Resoldered and the range is now more acceptable. I might be selling this and get a Tamiya Leopard 2A6 as I'm a fan of Tamiya 1/35 series tanks. Where in KL can I locate shops selling this? If you're keen on 1/35 model tank, Hobby HQ should do the trick I guess. Used to be located in City Square, but now it's now in Jalan Metro Pudu, Fraser BIZ Park, 55100 KL.Tel:603-9223 8588 But til now I can't seem to find the shop |

So far I have a VS Tank 1/24 Tiger I late war production model.
I am thinking to go for a Heng Long 1/16 Panther G. Any suggestion on the whereabouts, and the quality/details/historically-accurate? Couldn't really find any reviews on the net BTW. FYI a shop in BTS is selling a Heng Long 1/16 King Tiger with Porsche turret at MYR 399. Kinda attractive price I should say. |

QUOTE(kingnoss @ Oct 4 2012, 12:16 AM) Every month eh,where do you guys usually play? depends on the agreement of the members. but as of now, the meetup will be in november since this month most will be doing on diorama Added on October 4, 2012, 12:18 amAnyone using heng long tanks? i think most of us are using henglong here, tamiya would cost a bomb, and vs tank, although great oob, the size is tad small it all depends on preferences though, vs tank engine sound would also only play when it moves, there is no idle sound and no engine smoke :/ |

QUOTE(swordfishxox @ Oct 10 2012, 04:51 PM) you can't go wrong with King Tiger. It's huge, it has the new rx18 board inside, dimension-wise it has no problem. My second choice would be Panther G. Third would be a Stug III/Jagdpanther (although the lower glacis plate of Jagdpanther is kinda off). |

QUOTE(generalpete @ Oct 30 2012, 10:01 AM) Hi. I newie to RC tank, but very very interested to own/buy one. For months now I have been searching the net about it-yes it is getting more exciting and interesting but more confusing too...Any recommendations of where or what to buy. The german tanks eg Tiger tank seems ok. More interested in a metal track and gear airsoft RC tanks of scale 1:16. Any advices from anyone will be most appreciated. Pete from Cat City (KUCHING,SARAWAK on the beautiful island of wild Borneo) As for metal tracks and gears, from what I read, it is advisable to at least obtain the full metal thingy for it, which mean you'll need metal tracks, gears, wheels, suspension just so the rest can cope with that extra weight. If you're going for Tiger, find the one from the latest release, which utilizing the latest RX18 board, less faulty exterior and whatnot. The price should be around RM200-RM300, at least here in Kuala Lumpur. |
I'm not so sure where you could obtain one in Sabah/Sarawak, but I did saw some post in fb group that there are gathering in Brunei for RC tanks As for metal tracks and gears, from what I read, it is advisable to at least obtain the full metal thingy for it, which mean you'll need metal tracks, gears, wheels, suspension just so the rest can cope with that extra weight. If you're going for Tiger, find the one from the latest release, which utilizing the latest RX18 board, less faulty exterior and whatnot. Can you be a bit more precise as to where in KL I can buy it (Tiger tank)? Cost is not much problem as they say " a thing of beauty is a joy forever!"
well, a friend is selling in fb http://www.facebook.com/pages/RC-Toys/4104...9008474?fref=ts since nowadays its better IMO to buy from a person than a shop, the price would be lower |
