Ok, as most of you know, I have a Marshall TSL 602 Tube Amp with 2x EL34 tubes in the Power Amp stage, and 4x ECC83 in the Pre-Amp stage.

I know that the 6550 has a much fatter sound and might get a bit more crunch out of them, but can I swap them in for the EL34? Or are there any other alternatives? I'm basically trying to get a much fatter crunch to my TSL602.

Amp experts, please advice. Thanks man!!!

yeah.... I know most of them would swap the Pre-amps.....
But I wanted a bigger sound then the EL34s....
Would probably get Nik or the guy in CK Music to do it up for me.
