Unser 1.8, KL - Alorsetar plus some city drive in Ipoh and Alorsetar full tank about RM90-RM100(can't remember).
Fully load 8 person

QUOTE(badguy03 @ Jan 24 2008, 01:09 AM)

Wah...  RM73 for only 310++km??
That's means the consumption very high.
Even higher than a fuel drinker - Wira.

dont forget Innova is 2000cc car with more than 1200kg in weight. And does it carry 7 person on board?

Not quite sure whether it's carrying 7 ppls or not. Need to ask the owner. smile.gif

Well, just got a bad news base on motortrader forum Grand Livina user, seems like GL is not really as petrol saving as the Nissan said it is the best FC MPV...
Average of users info are GL is on RM0.20/km. Means almost similar as RM50/250km. Some even said it's RM0.23 per km. hmm.gif

a dad's friend stays at gombak, works at putrajaya. using naza ria. rm50 can last 1 week of commuting to and from work. pretty good i guess. although it is at highway speeds.

Naza Ria / Kia Carnival is definitely one of the MOST gas-guzzling MPVs in the market, and with expensive maintenance too. Worst choice for an MPV.

I'm very sure Honda Stream can achieve very good FC, but then it's really small. Same goes for Wish, but these two MPVs are really overpriced for their size.

Unser FC provided by zacevox sound reasonable, but it's a very aged car. Perhaps good if you're on a tight budget. From what I've heard, Innova's FC is worse than Unser.

My dad said his 2nd-gen Honda Odyssey 2.3L can get about 10-11 km/L on highway drives (driving alone though). Keeping in mind it's in the same size category as Naza Ria/Toyota Estima, I think that's not bad.

forget to mention the Unser is manual.. if auto i think is another story tongue.gif

Unser might better than Innova since it just 1800cc. but i guess should 10% higher like that.

First thing, i think it's save as he/she's driving on highway. Am i right? As i heard Naza Ria is a fuel drinker too. Perhaps he/she should test the FC on normal city drive. smile.gif

Wish and Stream are overprice also cannot do anything. Because it's Honda and Toyota. Hehe..
However it's consider lucky that they don't priced it like Odessey and Estima.

It's cheap all right for Innova and Unser, good for cost saving MPV buyer, but not good for cost saving user and heard FC not that good compare with those very petrol saving car. Why not consider Nissan Grand Livina. i think it should be more petrol saving than Innova or Unser.

I think he means same category/class as Estima. Size wise of course Estima will be bigger, just as big as Naza Ria.

even if it does long distance daily, i still feel that he is really lucky to go RM 50 on a Naza Ria in 5 week. assuming 5 working days.
Thats not a gas guzzler anymore. 50 bucks is like ....alot less than 50 litres of fuel.
@1.92 you 50 bucks is only like ...... 20-30 litres. and the mileage he clocks is like ... fookin unbelievable. what makes it even more unbelivable is the vehicle is a NAZA RIA.

he has to be one really really lucky dude. I bet you even my accord cannot clock that kinda mileage on that kinda fuel for that distance.

Haha.. Accord should save more lar friend...
I believe you should know the reason that highway drive is less FC compare with city drive right?
It's basically in top speed all the time which use the most less petrol because the chances of changing gear is less. While in city consume more petrol because always use low gear after stop the car on jam, traffic light etc.

So, we can't compare normal drive which including city drive compare with normal highway drive.

Normally any car should be able to reach that far through highway.
For car which must need to refill to go that far, i guess it's like a fuel drinker already. smile.gif

Any one driving a Mitsubishi Grandis here?
How much is the fuel consumption for a 2.4 Mivec Mitsubishi Grandis?
Does it burn lots of petrol too?

At the moment no Grandis Owner showed up yet...
You can just keep waiting for them to show up then. Hehe..
Grandis is big and looked not bad too.. Just like Wish...
But then it's rear light not really attracting..
That's my opinion only...
