Is it D sized? Most shopping centres like Jusco or Giant only sell up until C size, and if it's any bigger than that, then you will have to visit those lingerie speciality shops which One Utama has a lot of those shops (which are most probably more expensive but then they have almost all kind of sizes BUT beautiful pattern and designs).

Wacoal... only Jusco sells them right? I've actually seen others that are more expensive than that price range you mentioned.
Actually, I don't think that just because the bra size is bigger then its more expensive. For example, will the Nike shoe be more expensive just because I want to buy a size 12 and not 9? Of course not. It's still the same price except for the sizing. The reason they are expensive is because the branding. And the quality of the smoothness and softness and the durability and the comfortability. Not forgetting the cute lacey designs too. So far I think the most expensive is Triumph. |

Hmm, ok, I lose. I didn't know about Metrojaya. X_X~
Are those you mentioned sold in the shelves piled up together like mountain ones? I suddenly can't remember a brand I saw, but its only normal plain white color and with normal white strap also cost like RM 300 over... X_X~ I don't know if they have this thing called "warehouse sale" which means the bras will be sold at VERY low price because they wanted to clear that stock or whatever year end thingy. And usually these kind of sales doesn't happen in shopping centers. |

Lol CK... I think not so good one... if you want plain better go for the cheaper ones like the ones in Jusco, eerr.... I think it's called "Passione"? Or was that from Giant? lol...
And you're right, the purpose of bra is mainly to support breast. But some wears it for fashion purpose (or maybe to show to their bfs lol), and some actually collects them like how people would collect stamps, just like a hobby. The bra that you mentioned that makes breast look bigger and firmer are called push-ups. Most bras have this inside it already. |

paqralos, as far as i know. Victoria's secret offers the most comfortable bras. Go to their online store and see if they deliver to Malaysia. their prices are not too far off from Wacoal and Triumph.

don't buy a bra without trying it first.
if u can't find a size coz ur too big, try looking in xixili. they have cup sizes up to G cup. plus, xixili emphasise more on the correct fit and support rather than the design |

Err...I usually don't post in this section but the topic sort of made me came in.
Funny that nobody mentioned LaSenza. I previously was working for the company that distribute this brand in Malaysia (among one of the brand they sell) and got to know more about this brand. This brand have very good quality products and they have a patented seamless bra. The whole bra is one piece. It doesn't have any seams or joints. Heard from my ex-colleagues that they are very comfortable. I think it sells for RM100+ but should have promotion or something. Go try yourself and see. They have shops in all usual shopping malls. |

La Senza, most of them i saw during the sales, dont have the section to insert pad or no push up. (i need them, im Small...)
so, not so much my fav. I saw some of the girls are supporting Xixili, me too! before xixli, piere cardin was my favourite. But after switching to xixili, i realise that their bra would go out of shape so fast. ie, the rubbers , the straps last longer - didn't lose it's elasticity that fast. How bout some brands in the tangs, like Morgan, parfage or pourmoi, something like that? Anyone tried that? |

QUOTE(abubin @ Jun 9 2008, 02:59 AM) Err...I usually don't post in this section but the topic sort of made me came in. D Cup~! Anyways, Correct me if I am wrong, but I heard La Senza is part of VS. I went to La Senza retailer before, during sales. It was not worth it. Lack of selection and ... urgh ... Not so nice prices. Ordering VS from online is much cheaper. Plus they have a wider variety of selection. Pierre Cardin is not bad. Their bras are soft, feels like cloud .. Lol. But most probably it was just the type bra that I bought. |

I get my bras from Xixili. The one at Metrojaya in Sg. Wang has friendly and helpful staff. Even helped you measure what size and cup is right for you and even teach you how to do proper fitting. It might be a little awkward and embarassing at first, but it's important to get a properly fitted bra and wear it properly. If not even a RM 30 or a RM 300 bra will not last and you'll have problems.
La Senza is from Canada, Victoria's Secret is from the US. This post has been edited by Yukaeshi: Jun 24 2008, 11:00 PM |

IMO,u need to go n try the bra in fitting room no matter what brand.most important is that it's not too tight but not moving when u lift ur arms...few more criteria which i forgot but i'm sure the staff at d shops will tell u =) there's bound to be a comfortable bra no matter wad ur budget is.
A question though: Experts say a woman should get a new bra like every yr coz breast is fat tissue n its volume changes over time,so how often do u buy a new bra? |

QUOTE(dolceping @ Jun 13 2008, 03:21 PM) La Senza, most of them i saw during the sales, dont have the section to insert pad or no push up. (i need them, im Small...) anyone else facing this problem with xixili?how long wil u change ur bra once?so, not so much my fav. |

TS, you can get cheaper but good quality bras from Jusco, Isetan etc. The cheaper ones are those normally put on those "push carts"/baskets (those not hanged on the rack la, I don't know how to describe).
If you plan to buy it as a gift, I would recommend Xixili and La Senza, expensive but it's so gorgeous. Otherwise you can look into their cheaper range. Triumph is a good buy also. A friend of mine loves the Pierre Cardin range because affordable and they come in cute sets (bra + panties). And most important, know your gf's size before you buy anything. |

My opinion is never go for cheap bra. My bra size is fairly big as well and i had tried a lot of brands. Brands like wacoal, sorella and triumph, you need to try on different range then you will get a comfortable one. Normally, it won't be cheap. I bought one from La senza before, and it is only OK. So far, my favourite brand is Sorella. How often do I change my bra? hehe...depends on my mood....i always buy when there is sales

Have you guys tried Avon? They have very cute and very very affordable bras. They even have a range called big beautiful which offers quite nice bras for bigger women. If taken care of properly, the bras can last a long time. Try it. You can even get up to 20% discount if you become a member.

I bought my bras from THAILAND (not the cheap ones where your saw in night market) and its superbly comfortable. If you happen to drop by or visit thailand DO REMEMBER TO BUY THE BRAS FROM SHOPPING COMPLEX!

Wacoal is the best choice. In Japan, they have more choice & size selections. In Thailand, the original one also costs cheaper than in Malaysia. If you go for the ordinary design, it costs only around RM50.
Besides bra as protection, bust massage gel is also important. Attached image(s) |

i think cost price for bras is cheap
just depends on the branding and how much they sell good quality thing sellin at cheap price, our mindset is 'ohh its cheapo low quality stock' if they add branding and sellin higher price, people will think its quality stuff this is what i know lar cause my fren got doin some bras and panties sales outside and i know the cost price range correct me if im wrong =D |
