Does it really matter? Sony's body focus motor is much faster than Canon's USM... unless silent focusing is your priority. For us, Sony and Minolta users.... lens with built-in focusing mechanism is just a bonus, not a priority.

Yea, if you have a high speed card, you can use it as your mini hard disk too I'm using my 8Gb 266x to share movies and pictures. You wouldn't do that if you are using a slow one.

quoted for RM1,600 for both lens. worth it? is this lens perform well or not recommended at all....

did you know that some reports found that the Sigma 70-300 is the best among low-end tele and the Canon ranks around middle / back of the few lenses compared?

anyway my point is. warranty issue is just 1 factor and you're probably the first I've ever come by to tell someone to get a lens just because of warranty issue. c'mon la, there's other issues like build quality and output quality.

anyway I've no problem recommending the Sigma 70-300 and Tamron 70-300. they're good low-end tele lenses.

the 70-200 is so big and heavy, I'm trying to see how often I would take this lens out and say, go snap-snap in 1 Utama if got events there.

my 55-250 isn't much usable under low light leh.. That's y the dilemma now.

The Sigma 24-70mm change to Tamron 17-50mm.

I advise next time dun buy Sigma lens cause the reject rate high compare to the third party lens.

Tamron and the Tokina is the best 2 third party lens maker.

I try kau kau on the 17-50mm last Monday.

Focusing is fast but dunno how fast compare to Canon.

But 1 thing, i try canon 24-70mm f2.8 from my friend.

This lens very very sharp and fast. I really like it but on budget.

Recommend.

Pls try the canon 24-70mm lens than u know what is damn sharp and good.
