QUOTE(goldfries @ Jan 25 2008, 05:51 PM) hehe. RM 100 is like 1 year magazine subscription. RM100 can buy UV filter, add in another RM200, then can buy 50mm 1.8

QUOTE(myjunk @ Feb 16 2008, 09:08 PM) @mykomputer, Just wondering, did you check out this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/612223 before you made your purchase? In any case, congrats on getting the new toys. Please update the above thread with the details. BTW, does the Nissin work as a slave for the 580 EX II? Yup, I did refer to that page. The price I know is around 860 for the lense at Foto President Penang. The price i paid for all these items is RM1407 inclusive of the 2.5% cc charge. If minus the charge the price is around 1372. Which put the lense at around RM855. So the calculation Lense RM855 UV Filter RM40 Nissin Speedlite RM480 Total = RM1372 + CC charge Total = RM1407 QUOTE(sherren @ Feb 16 2008, 11:00 PM) Yes just put ur nissin mode to slave Yeah, just put it in slave mode. even the built in flash can trigger it.

QUOTE(grungemann @ Feb 19 2008, 08:53 AM) From Matthew, Click N Snap, Komtar la.. Added on February 19, 2008, 9:00 amErr...newbie question. How to repair shots taken using wide angle lens. I tried a few group photo (that time with my cousin's 40D + Sigma 10-20mm) & the people's head look like the coneheads. Matthew should have coffee machines at his shop, then we can have TT at his shop, which have sooo many poison

QUOTE(fcbarcelona-my @ Feb 20 2008, 12:23 AM) click n snap camera shop, penang. IINM I try it on my 350D at Click 'N Snap. it has few extra functions such as we can set different self timer duration, how many snaps we want to take. I didn't buy it (yet ) as i just dump my money on the Nissin Flash and the 55-250 IS. Btw below is the moon pic i shot just now. I did some sharpening, clarify and crop it. ISO 200; 250mm; f/9.0; 1/250s (handheld IS is great)

QUOTE(myjunk @ Mar 6 2008, 10:56 PM) wah.. 4 seconds seems like a very long time compared to the 580 ex II (i don't have other flashes to compare with anyhow except for a 20+ year old one) So, in this case, cannot do burst shots is it? The 580 ex II can burst up to 20times man. The eye also blind man. (perhaps this is a good weapon to bring out to escape from robbers!? keke) Added on March 6, 2008, 10:57 pmbut given the price, this may be a good buy as a secondary slave flash for those wireless strobist pictures. (went to a US so-called-strobist meetup and learn a bit from them) I tried continuous shooting with my Nissin. I shoot 10 continuous shots. It managed to cope with that.
