I managed to claim a flash unit from my old US Amex credit card reward point and it arrived last week after the bird park outing. My sis brought it back with her. It's a Quantaray QF30 flash and I've never heard of it before
 Not sure how it compares with Canon or Nissin or any other brands. More info here:Quantaray QF30 Being a SLR newbie, I'm not sure how to take good pictures with flash too Anyone can give some guidance? |

Let's see... today I learned about 3rd party batteries, using wireless transmitter to help with AF, bouncing flash off white shirt, and keep away pricing info from the "Finance Minister"
