My cousin trade-in his Tamron 17-50mm (for RM900) for the EF 17-40mm L (RM24xx) lens yesterday. Superb L quality.

Got my Nissin Di622 on Saturday. Superb (compared to the cheap/built-in flash) for a sub Rm500 flash!

I tried a few group photo (that time with my cousin's 40D + Sigma 10-20mm) & the people's head look like the coneheads. This post has been edited by grungemann: Feb 19 2008, 09:00 AM |

QUOTE(Shoot@M3 @ Feb 21 2008, 02:15 PM) Me busy working la For me, sometime I set to M & adjust everything. Most of the time I set to Tv (set the shutter speed) & then ISO. Taking wedding shot is faster to me in Tv mode. But going thru the topics 'silently' I have a big question for everyone... How do you do your composition most of the time? I know maybe it's common thing for you people but I need to learn here and maybe point out where i do wrong? For me : In order of importance - Manual Mode - Check AWB mode ( I need to remember this! ) - Check ISO settings - Set Aperture value - Set Shutter mode based on A value (I have problems here figuring the best shutter speed cos sometimes only after u see in computer, then u noticed it's not fast enough) - How to you correct the Exposure +/- here? In Manual Mode, I can't seem to find a dial that does this? - Take some snapshots and change all above is needed Am I missing something here people? Cos I still need to learn a lot Plus, do you people have someone experienced that you can learn from or you just learn by yourself TIA And shoot in RAW. |

QUOTE(davidmak @ Feb 26 2008, 09:41 AM) Red sprayers.... careful there... During my snapping action, there were a few 'abang' FRU sitting beside one of the red machine. There giving me the 'do it fast' look. So the result of that is pictures which is lack of composure.Added on February 26, 2008, 9:46 am |

QUOTE(valho @ Feb 27 2008, 01:15 PM) yeah agree i still miss the extra 35mm, and the IS hahah, coz with the IS I don't really need to keep an eye on the shutter speed as much but I am getting the hang of the 17-50 now. Just need to remember keep and eye on the shutter speed and remember to walk closer Thanks guys. Now need to get as many project as possible to fund the now one.. |
