hehe. so convenient man with battery grip.

tell you la, i went to snap fashion show with my 70-300 and no battery grip that time. crap man. so many runway rounds, try holding the camera up high, vertically and snap a few thousand shots, focusing, refocusing, snap and so on so forth. in the end my index finger hurts, have to use middle finger to click trigger. smile.gif

edited : btw with battery grip, it's easier to snap vertical (portrait angle) shots with alignment closer to perfect 90 degree.

Anyway is it Wise to get Canon BG E3 Grip for my 350D , i heard from some fella's they say only usefull if u use large lens ,  cry.gif  so should i get it or not,
I find it nicer to shoot horizontaly
*
Maybe that's personal preference? But I'm using kitlens only, i find it really useful, especially taking pics vertically. During events with alot of Photog, you'll minimize blocking others with the grip, instead of raising ur hand so high up. LOL

I would rather choose to have a better grip for myself rather than fearing that you gonna block other's view.

yeah lor. tiring leh, like my experience i posted earlier. your arm and elbow have to go up, showing ketiak. smile.gif

oh let's not forget that battery grip allows you to have 2 batteries which lengthens the operational time. you could even use AA batteries if you want.

again, whoever said it's only useful with big lens needs his knowledge checked.

personal preference? i doubt it, if personal preference then it would be "i only use battery grip because i find........" but to say only useful with big lens then something wrong already. biggrin.gif

Yeah tongue.gif
But i'm just saying shooting with the battery grip vertically will also minimize blocking others behind.
Hands also not so tired with batt grip

The person bought n didn't want it?

I got mine brand new with a piece off battery for RM450.

Need to ask you about ur sigma 18-200 OS, heard that all rounded lens might cause picture distortion? have u experience that? and during what situation ?

Err i'm not sure, that's why I'm asking.
But my friend told me it's long focal length.

Now I'm considering Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS , Tamron AF 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 Di II , any suggestions?

@viking

Other than the ST-E2 wireless transmitter, you can also opt for the pocket wizard. Which can simultaneously trigger all your flash as long as you buy multiple receivers tongue.gif

(Aiyah.. Accidentally closed the browser when replying!! Lost all the quotes)

Anyway.. Rm450 + battery = good deal, most ppl here got it for Rm470-480 w/o battery. I got it for RM440 w/o battery in S'pore

next month when I come back from US(still unconfirmed going) will get a 580EX II and thinking of buying extra to bring back and sell to you guys. I'll have to see how much $$ I have on hand to pay for it 1st lah..

Shereen: Lambency flash diffuser.flash seems like a good knockoff to get. Shashinki selling for RM89. Ebay.my selling it for Rm119 (crazy ah?) It looks very nice esp the canon pic w/ diffuser on right? How well does it work on reflective surface like on the back LCD of the camera?

Or AUD9 from Ebay.com (you know I'm getting poisoned already..!!)

USD15 from Ebay.com (2 type of clour cap)Ebay.com

Dude all. Is it my holding style or something but after a photo session, the arms very tired lah. (and in pain) due to holding the camera esp on the shoulders. Seems like I'm in tension during the photo session. Is this normal? Perhaps I'm not holding the camera properly?

AAARGRGGGGhhhh... poison!!! Some more going US!! Lagi teruk poison...

The Sigma 24-70mm working very well.

Never buy the wrong lens. But u dun compare with the canon 24-70 L-series one lah.

The picture is very good and fast lens. Recommended.
