Actually is compatible to Canon 350D but If u need to setting on the flash light mode.

That U need to buy Marks III. Mark III is fully integrated with 580EX II.

Like the entry and mid range level camera cannot configure this flash mode.

I own a nissin Di622.

Yesterday, I do some research on this 2 speedlite.

I found the focusing of an object is clear when i used Nissin.

But used 580EX II abit blur on the object.

All the setting is automatic mode with tripod.

But Aperture is f1.8.

Dunno why

Any feedback here.

IINM you can control it using 40D too. That's one of the new features in 40D. I don't need to set it on my flash anymore, just press my ISO button and set it.

hmm, it's quite easy to go there. They have buses going there around morning from T.Square, and then back by evening.

40 minutes from KL to Bkt Tinggi via Karak Highway.

Since everyone discussing about flash... here is one sample of the sigma EF500 DG ST if you wonder how well the sigma works as a third party flash unit, flash controlled by ETTL II.

mm, maybe we can compare Siggy vs 580EX side by side in the next gathering. Kinda curious on how well Siggy can perform. Never had a chance to try Siggy's flash.

note there's 2 models and 2 types for each. 500 flash bulb is equivalent to 430ex, 530 flash bulb is equivalent to 580.

ST type(standard)- no lcd screen, there's only ETTL II mode, manual mode. cannot be served as slave unit(unless you buy a wireless light detector hotshoe but no ETTL II)

Super type - functions are mostly or can be said exactly same as the 430EX and 580EX.
