Thanks smile.gif the siggy is a very good lens, a friend of mine has it with his D50 and produced really great landscape shots of Thailand's coast. You should be proud for having owning 1 of the greatest ultra wide lens in DSLR history biggrin.gif

i did just that today, still not sure on how to maximize the distortion characteristics laugh.gif anyway, here are some photos of my tokkie 124 biggrin.gif

price tag from shashinki...
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM - RM2,650
Siggy 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM - RM2,275
Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X AF Pro DX - RM1,895
maybe already been discussed but
among these 3.... which is the best? or any else the best?
*
sigma will be the best choice in term price price value~~

u hv to remember sigma shaprness may not meet ur expectation......but if u want create some distortion / dynamic perspective / certian angle..... sigma will be ur 1st choice, u wouldnt go the wrong way.

for the canon and tokina sharpness, i think is better than sigma..but nikon 14-24 is speechless...

if u royal to the brand go canon lo~~ laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

if u compare these 2 i'd go for the sigma 28-70, the reviews from a foreign magazine tested and said that its better than one of canon's L lens o_O

so if u wanna compare sigma 24-70mm and tokina 28-80mm, go for the tokina 28-80mm instead. smile.gif Its proven sharper and better than the sigma.
*
i was considering the tamron b4 after i read this:
http://photo.net/equipment/tamron/28_75_Di/page4.html

but the sigma im not sure haha...better than L?? must be kidding laugh.gif laugh.gif .....it just lack of the HSM....ararrar

tokina ar...i didnt reseach much about it haha..2nd hard to find

Yeah, the sigma 10-20mm, or Tokina 12-24mm

Or,

You can wait for tamron's 10-24mm, or get the more expensive tokina 11-16mm smile.gif

my suggestion? tamron's 10-24mm tongue.gif because i just wanna know its performance laugh.gif
*
hv any idea when it release??....the tammy one.....
