I'll be joining you guys soon, paid deposit for a used set of 350D. That's not mine actually but it is for my sister and her husband, but I still can play with it sometimes. Can't wait to Sunday because I will cod with the seller that day.

The package I bought includes of Canon EOS 350D together with its accessories, Canon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kitlens and Canon 50mm F1.8, 2GB CF and blower. All this for RM 1765.

Canon EOS 350D+Accessories+ Kitlens+ 2GB CF = RM 1500
Canon 50mm F1.8 (3 months old) = RM 250
Blower (New) = RM 15
Total = RM 1765

The camera and the accessories are out of warranty but very good condition as viewed from the pictures shown by the seller. Is the total amount worth for all them? I hope yes.

I am a super noob beginner for DSLR, know nothing about DSLR, I hope I have more chance to explore the DSLR.

if want cheap can get the Nissin or Sunpaks lor. btw viking selling 430EX now, can check it out if you want cheaper stuff.

That depends on what area in photography you would like to explore and what lens you have at the moment. If you have a kit len, a flash gun will extend the usage of it and let you do better with what you have now. A 18-200 is only a more convenient solution from wide-angle to mid tele. Typically it is very convenient for travel and taking midrange distances photographs.

Get a 580exII OR a canon Canon 70-200mm f4 L, forget about Siggy 18-200mm.
Get a used 350D and pair it with a Siggy 105mm f2.8 Macro lens. Good combo for food macro.
