Ill consider the tokina and siggy.

Tokina 12-24 because of its low distortion, and constant f4 aperture. But its not much of a problem with apertures for me as i usually stop my f number to 16-22 for landscapes.

Ok, here's what i think:

go for the siggy if u like distortions, sigma's distortion level is high and its not a weak point for it. The distortion helps you to emphasize the foreground details which is a very strong element in landscape photography. Chose this lens if u wan a cheaper option than the EFS 10-22mm but with better built quality.

Tokina's distortion level is low, built quality is superb, im telling, it really does feel very solid in your hands. Get this if u wan less distortion and do not mind the extra 2mm than the siggy's 10mm. Built quality is better than siggy's and focusing is quiet and fast like siggy's. And its cheaper too

I try it on my 350D at Click 'N Snap. it has few extra functions such as we can set different self timer duration, how many snaps we want to take. I didn't buy it (yet  ) as i just dump my money on the Nissin Flash and the 55-250 IS. Btw below is the moon pic i shot just now. I did some sharpening, clarify and crop it.

ISO 200; 250mm; f/9.0; 1/250s (handheld IS is great)

go download from Canon site la. they have driver for it.

but tell you la, i use the Canon thing to read via camera. it didn't see my RAW files. i donno why.

Right to the spot valho. But the F2.8 is only useful IF you don't have an external flash and you rely on sufficient shutter speed to do the job. You will usually realize that F2.8 maybe nice for macro work or single subject photography but if you are taking more than one subject like family portraits of at least two person, you will soon realize that 2.8 is impossible to capture them sharp because the other will be slightly OOF or in bokeh or soft. The Tamron 17-50mm when stopped down to F4 and above is excellent! The color, contrast and sharpness is excellent. But you will be sacrificing shutter speed and need to increase ISO which will increase chances of noise.

Thats when you'll need an external flash to TTL compensate for these situations. An external flash plus the Tamron 17-50 will be a great combination. If there is IS, then you can do a lot more. Kekeke!
