Yah, some pure breeds do look like normal/stray cats to a normal persons eye.

Imagine if he found a semi long hair like Oren... How much would he priced it

Wahhh, I find it kindda hard lah to understand Mia... My husband keep saying she is descended from some sort of kucing hutan...

She doesn't like to be touched, if I let her out of the cage, run havoc in the apartment, won't sit still, if you wanna try catch her to put back in the cage, lagi susah...

If I let her out, she doesn't seem to mind Oren, but if Oren try to follow her or ask her to play, she will hiss and growl and run...

Always have to stop Oren from being friendly, sampai sometimes it's very funny cuz he will then try to touch Mia quietly and slowly... And we have to stop him half way with his paw mid way

Cats will normally shit at places where there is substance like sand or something... As long as ada this a bit in front of you house, susah a bit lah, unless you really-really clean it until no trace of the cats prev biz there cuz another thing I know, once they establish a place as a pooping place, they do it often there...

Most cats will be chubbier. Like elf said, size wise actually depends on the cat, but most of them will be chubbier(fatter )

But the one thing you can see obviously is no more on heat, running away, fighting and such

Spaying/neutering is a good option

Last I neutered Oren it's already RM45 for male at the DBKL clinic.

I think non-pregnant female is RM65.

Naik sikit by RM5.00, but neutering/spaying at DBKL clinic is 100% tax deductable

I neutered Oren in January, perhaps new rates has started sine early of the year...

But RM45/RM65 for neuter/spaying and RM30 for vaccine is still cheaper than private vets

Thanks for the read, most of what is said seems the be the practise of the persons raw food creator.

Like getting from trustable market, freezing it, adding red palm oil and amino acids and so on...

She also uses the term BARF(Biologically Approved Raw Food)

So, it is good lar right?

But I still don't get the part where they say feeding raw food can help reduce bad breath and odor free coat which normally occurs to commercial food feeding pets cuz Oren doesn't stink and he's on kibbles most of the time while Mia stinks and she was on raw food most of the times

Oren's mouth stinks when he just woke up from sleep and yawn *euwww* but other times not so... Mia on the other hand *euwww* and her fur/coat smells too

Perhaps I'm so used to a goody-goody cat like Oren... I find Mia all the opposite...

I believe that in most pets, there is no difference in keeping a male or a female if the owner is good enough and understands how to handle them the right way

Personally, all my boy pets seem to rock more than my girl pets (my pets, not just cats )

There is quite a few thing you need to prepared if getting a cat for the first time, but basics are a proper cage(for initial caging only), a good litter sand and litter tray and ofcourse the food.

Keeping a cat in just a room can be quite hard especially if the room is small... It's good if the cat can run about sometimes... Doesn't have to be outside, but mebbe in the house instead of just 1 room.

Yes, a clean place is also important.

Other things to consider is like the vaccination, neutering, preparation to go to hospital/vet when necessary and so on.

Elf, Eagle pack got many color also but if I am not mistaken only the Orange pack is Holistic which is the one hooverbell and I am using

Acana same manufacturer with Orijen, not Eagle Pack



Like elf said, if buy in bigger quantity can save a lot.

If you actually do a little bit of calculation (ie, monthly cost divide by days and such) it's not as costly as you think Kita makan satu hari lagi banyak cost

A little update about my kitties at home...

Oren as usual is super good and entertaining and obidient...

While Mia is still out of my understanding... I'm sorry I do not have patience with her, I leave her to my husband to jaga.

Her story is too long to tell here, if lepak at mamak boleh lah citer

Anyway, lucky she now understands my command to go back to the cage(if she is not that far lor)...

Other than that she is such a wild cat!

Nasib baik Oren is the same Oren as he is

I think mebbe I let you jaga Mia for a while then you will know why I call her wild cat...

None like what you describe above(which I think is normal cat behaviour)... More like lari tak tentu arah, cannot touch, wanna scratch you, can snarl like mad and howl like a male cat! (And Mia is a female...)

She was a stray living on garbage before she was picked up.

She has only been under the foster owner for about a month plus only...

She seemed okay when we visited her cuz she is placed in a big room with 3-4 other cats which she does seems to squabble with a bit.

With people she seemed okay cuz she was only allowed in that small room only, no place to run about and hide I guess...

The foster owner said she's okay and shouldn't be a problem with people or other cat infact she pointed out which cat that does not get along with other cat but good with people so on and so forth...

I dunno how her life as a stray was lah

Most are adult already...

Btw, I ordered this pet ID tag for Oren...

(Took about a month plus tho...)

Tapi it's a bit big for Oren ler... He doesn't seem to mind it, but I removed it the next day when I saw it dipping into his food bowl and water bowl

So the ID tag jadi tag for his carrier lah

Ohh, after all the hassle waiting for the tag and such(cuz so-called order from China), my husband said at a pet shop in Bangsar got those ID tags
