I wonder, some time ago I brought my cat to the vet for the yearly booster, after the injection the spot where it was injected had some sort of bulge there... you can see the slight bulge but when I pat my cat there and rub it the cat doesn't seem to be in pain. Is the bulge suppsed to be there like human BCG jabs? It's been a week already and I can feel it's not as big as before... just want to know if this is normal.

Err the yearly vaccination I guess... anyway today I checked again, the bulge is almost nonexistant. She seems happy so I guess she's okay.

ya i also think it is the vaccine.. not booster blush.gif the bulge maybe happen because of painful injection. just like when the mosquitoes bite our skin. i dont think it will bring any sensitivity to your cat. vaccine should be good stuff for the cats. send my flying kiss to your kitty cat rclxm9.gif

but i think too much sleep have to do with too much fat or over weight, which makes your cat become lazy. loneliness cat will also sleep more than normal cat.

so i finally caved in and started buying toys for Muffin to play with.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Thanks to all those who say he is cute, adorable, beautiful(coat) , he is definitely a keeper. If only he wasn't so naughty ... i was thinking of getting another cat to play with, but then i noticed that almost half my neighbours had a cat too. including 1 house with 10 cats! and they weren't spayed, because i see kittens every 6 months or so ...
*

Hi yitjuan,

I've been wanting to ask this question but keep forgetting smile.gif

You're not staying in Malaysia izit?

Cuz judging by the outdoor photos with Muffin before, the mention of the weather and a heater indoors and look at the grass in the above pix... Doesn't look like local to me wink.gif

-----

Update on Mia (previously known as Ming Ming...)

Can't seem to think of any other name for her unless I agree with my husband to call her "Violet" doh.gif So I think Mia is way better wink.gif

Picked her up on Saturday afternoon.

Upon arriving home, to my surprise Oren is actually very charming towards her wub.gif

He was trying to be very-very-very friendly with her while all Mia could do was hiss and growl with all her might(siap saliva dropping tu... sweat.gif )

I find her tone and all very different, my husband keep thinking she's some sort of "kucing hutan" Her 'meow' is veryyy different sweat.gif

Anyway, all the while Oren is being sweet and nice to her, trying to talk to her with meowing softly, but the response he gets is "HISSSSS"...

1st night still the same, Oren kept his cool until I think he also got "bengang" and hissed back at her... Not the "Lets Fight" hiss, but more like "You think only you can hiss ka" hiss tongue.gif

All I need to do is stroke Oren gentle and tell him to calm down and he's back to his soft wuzzy fuzzy self wink.gif

2nd night without fail Oren tries to approach Mia. She hisses, and he'll just move back and sit infront of the cage... Very calm and funny...

This morning Mia seems restless in the cage, so I let her out with close supervision, she even brushed close with Oren but did not hiss at him(perhaps tired the whole night hissing while Oren sat infront of the cage...)

So Oren thot she dah OK and lightly tap her from the back to play, then she turned and hiss... Bwahahaha, so funny... I think Oren seriously cannot wait to ajak her play-play... So I had to tell Oren to wait summore, she still hasn't warmed up yet tongue.gif

Anyhow, seems things are going good!

Will post some pixs in a bit smile.gif

I don't think hissing and growling is a good greeting, more like "get the hell away from me" greeting...

ya hissing means warning. its normal in feline behavior. but then, most cat will have that hissing when meeting other cat for the first time. i always like to say it as greetings rather that "come fight with me - this is my warning" = that sound so bad isnt it.

its good for bengal. but need frequent deworm. maybe beef bring more worms. some give raw meet. some give half cook meet. but i still prefer giving chicken.

but if i have extra cash i sure do give beef sometimes. but then beef is kinda expensive, me myself can't afford to buy beef every week tongue.gif so i just by chicken and share it with my kitty cats.
