I just got conned by this guy rm1.7k. He used a fake ID Mazlan Bin Musa, A/C No: 1417-0084834-528, I/C No: 770413-04-513.

He was listing an iphone 3gs 32gb on ebay, for rm1700. he also "sells" 16gb at rm1500. Beware: he will say the item is a kastam confiscated item and cannot COD. He will convince you by saying how many units he got left, how other people verified his account valid, and he will speak convincingly. After cheque cleared, he never replies anymore.

Presumably he's done this for ages, he sounds f***ing convincing. I think he uses the ID of his victims to cheat the next person. He asked for name, address and IC number, stating that it is to insure the right person receives the package.

Please spread the news to your friends and not fall into the hands of this blithering idiot. I plan to write to the papers about this and lodge a police report tomorrow.
