Have you tried Kimi ni Todoke? It's not exactly funny but it's in the romance genre. Pretty sweet if you ask me. If you think that's too serious and you prefer a light hearted comedy romance type, you can try Perfect Girl Evolution. Special A's nice too, quite similar to Ouran but no Kyouya factor there! :-)

Parody? Gotta be Gintama! One of the best parody shows out there. Recently ended its run , got about 200 episodes. I think Durarara has some parody as well.

Btw, jungle wa itsumo hale nochi guu is seriously hilarious. Not for those who can't tolerate silly stuff though.
