Makoto Shinkai stuff (The Place Promised in Our Early Days, Voices of a Distant Star)

Haven't seen any anime in the last year (Except Macross Frontier & Code Geass - so don't mind some good new mecha anime suggestions as well ) so would like something that falls in above category. Series or Movie is fine.

07 ghost seems very excellent anime, along the episode, there are no boring part at all. The plot is nice as well as the music

something like bleach??how about naruto shippuuden..top 10 can only vs top 10
alternatively, u could go for completed series such as "Darker than Black/Code Geass/Soul Eater"
or u can go for 07 Ghost in general (not for me though cuz too much male - male relationship)
but action wise is ok.

Recommendation for on-going animes
One piece (NAKAMA , adventure)
Canaan (Gun fight action)
Sora no manimani (School life & romance)
Pandora Heart (action, adventure,fantasy)
Bakemonogatari (unique & supernatural)
Spice & Wolf 2 (recommended for those who followed S&W)

i would like to recommend neon genesis evangelion to all that havent watch it. it doesnt matter what is your anime preference, your back ground or what so ever. watch neon genesis evangelion. all of them. the series, death and rebirth, the new movie, then read the manga.

currently watching Kampfer (horrible) , White Album (continued from s1) , Railgun (from To-Aru Majutsu Index I presume)

However... I really do hate those that only have fan service but don't have real story....

and last season Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 nearly moved me to tears
