Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii is my favorite this season.

Others like Comic Girls, Megalo Box, Steins;Gate 0, Hinamatsuri and Golden Kamuy is good too.

could anyone advise me the name of the anime (early 80's)

there are 5 planes
each of the plane need to be attached to the body of the robot to control it.
So whenever some big or evil creature appear, they will be 5 robots fighting it.
Ultimately the 5 robots will combine to 1 single big robot.

Actually there are 5 smaller robots when fighting an aliens or something, if they almost lose they will combine into a single huge robot

There are 5 pilots which each control a smaller robot via their plane.
Where each of the plane tansform into a robot head once it’s attached to the body

If I am not mistaken one plane landed vertically head on to the smaller robot while the other landed horizontically... the other 3, I can’t really remembered.

wanna watch golden kamuy or 18if. which is your recommended show?

I really like Golden Kamuy. Pretty much action anime.
It felt a bit oldschool in terms of how they tell the story.
Characters are nice, action is good, funny moments here and there, and season 2 in October.

The start made a lot of people unhappy about the adaptation for some reason, but I enjoyed it from the start.
