wow.. u guys has take the zero to the next N level..
guys like me with non/lil knowledge bout electronic based certainly not knowing wat u guys has added in..
only know that u guys are adding NOS to ur turbo charge mustang..
kudos to u guys for bring us to the stage that we nvr had a chance to explored by ourself..

u need to connect the zero and the usb to optical converter via TOSLINK or Optical Cable that comes with the Zero, not some sort of infrared thingy..

usb cable -> usb to optical converter -> Optical cable [a.k.a. TOSLINK] -> zero..

take out the optical cap [the square thingy that's at the optical digital in there] of ur zero and ur "usb-to-optical converter"

the difference between coaxial or optical is minor only, not every1 noticed it [i can't]
for aego m, better use the rca at the back of the zero//

any1 NOT using the optical cable that comes with the zero package insetted using a Monster THX @ Philips Fibre Optical toslink cable??

yup, you're right got to press it in order to use it
the pre-amp light is green color.

24bit 44100hz or 48000hz, no point upscaling it to higher than 48000hz as the souece, whether mp3 or lossless are usually in 44.1khz [mostly] or 48khz

i think my Zero is down...

1st was noise once turn on..
now no output anymore...

can anyone here help??
