How much a coaxial cable costs ? A value for money one. Where to buy ?

I saw someone trying to sell a used one for more than RM 600, costs more than zero dac.

Mind to share.

Yes, this thread is very poisonous, You need to have the will power to overcome.

Zero Dac is just the beginning of the journey [ searching for a better sound ] , and not the end yet.

Later, the power cords, tubes, interconnects, speaker wires , tube amps, cdp, speakers, moldings. It goes round and round.

It is going to burn a big hole in your pocket, be ready for it.

Quite busy with some paperworks tonight.

I intend to pair with my 2 very old cdps ( more than 10 years cost 1k n 3k ), I hope to add value to these cdps.

Do you use the pre amp button ? Sorry no time to read the whole thread. Still rushing the paperworks .

I like the volume control whereby the output could be controlled to cut down the brightness of sound. Signature does change from original cd player.

Still need time to run in. Seems to work well with silver interconnect.

One thing good and outstanding about this thread is , people like ccschua is unselfishly sharing his knowledge with us.

I believe Abel has invested quite a lot to come out with "Zero Dac Version 2."

Your AV amp is powerful, can rock floor stand speakers !

I also got one 150watts per channel power amp made by China ( Assembled for Malaysia company ), about 15kg.

Not bad, it costs me about rm 500 as secondhand. Can drive very big speakers, best suited for AV, but I use for 2 channels HIFI in the hall, driving 4 speakers at a time.

I have received my earth, but a bit of confused.

It is short and about the same height as sun ( I borrowed from Mr. Chua before ).

Can someone please enlighten me on how to check ? and it is labeled as earth with a paper sticker , i prefer the one with good vocal . Did I order the wrong thing ?

Zero Dac with Earth does give value to my old timer CDPs that have good built ( but lacking in DAC capability ) a big boost, thus saving me the money to hunt for a new and more expensive CDP.

Moreover, in my opinion the quality of new entry level CDPs are no match than those old timers. Coupled with Zero Dac, my old timer CDPs are given a new lease of life, at acceptable low cost investment ( Proton Saga level ? ).

What am I saying is there is no regret for me to buy a Zero Dac.

The only problem is how to keep tracks of so many moddings going on , for a person with ZERO tech background ( sorry, i am from financial school ) . People here are taking 5 steps a time, I am just happy to take only one step at a time.

What is Output Decoupling ( snipping ) ? can google the term ?

The ways you asked questions , give me the impression that your questions are more related to your assignments that you need to do in class, lacking the passion/appreciation for HIFI .

Why bother to ask questions, then yourself jump to the conclusion before knowing, as if you already have all the answers to yourself.

Since it OT, so no point to argue further.

I tried the zero dac/earth with my old Onkyo CDP ( those day cost about 2.5K ) entry player, using SS amplifiers ( pre /power ) and Jamo/JM Lab speakers.

The gain is great, having nice and outstanding vocal , more transparency and more detailed in instruments , though using less expensive QED interconnect this time ( still need time to run in ).

I see zero dac/earth as an enhancement to my system, less as a competitor to my CDP.

Fatigue with Cap Snip? meaning it is anti climax ? So better put on hold , right ?
