Update: Abit of bad news for you guys ... seems like communicating in different language really brings out different meaning, those who want extension wire like chua's one you need to top up RM10, it's ok for you guys not to purchase just that your ZERO will be end up "roofless" since the discrete opamp is too tall and you cant close ZERO's steel top cover Please do update with me your decision, k? sorry for the havoc, I should go and learn to type in chinese soon

RM10 per single unit, sorry for the havoc caused cos language communicating problem, sorry! It's best for you to pay for the opamp and extension wire in one shot, so easier to calculate the handling cost later when stock arrived

Hi bro, i will only submit the order by today cos the producer been away for last two days, today only back at his own workspace

UPDATE: Due to overwhelming response from all over the world, SUN and EARTH are temporarily out of stock and next batch will be done within these 3 or 4 days, and they promised to send it on next Monday or Tuesday. Some guys reported that these discrete opamp took around 3-4days to arrive at doorstep, so estimate date of arrival would be next Friday or Saturday Stay tuned!

RAV4: I think u may try all solutions provided by chua, if the humming is caused by the tranny, one of the solution may helps! again thanks chua for his dedication!

Anyway a piece of news for you guys, the discrete opamp will be sending out today, takes around 3days to reach Malaysia and dunno how many days to clear kastam! and the converters is currently stuck at Kastam there since quite heavy load of importing at port klang, maybe due to Merdeka Celebration! Maybe try to plug the power cord to other socket which doesnt share with other electronic appliances, hope it helps!

Hi guys! The discrete opamp are here! Unfortunately, it kena KASTAMed thus I spent RM50 on "special allowance", that's best I could get after an hour of haggling! So hope you guys understand, so this RM50 will be spread between 13 orders, which is RM4 for each pair of opamp ordered!

EARTH sounds like an improved OPA2604 to me, the highs are more extended yet without any sibilance at all, unlike OPA2604's hard highs! Depth is good, listening to live concert makes me feel enjoy! Bass hitting lower and mids are slightly laid back, I wont classify it as sweet cos it's neutral and natural, like a dish of vege without ajinomoto! Quite balance to my ears, roughly same sound signature as OPA2604 but better! I always think OPA627's sound kinda thin to me, details is there hey I'm not enjoying my music with them!

Hi there, Earth is the one better for vocal, if I'm not wrong, when plug in Sun, the LED will gonna light up, while the Earth dun have so feature ... Maybe the Earth's vocal abit too natural for you? I find that the Earth's vocal is quite up to the task for me ... if u looking for more warmth at vocal, i think the upcoming Moon suits u better ... please give the Earth some burn in, cos I heard some improvement after 20 hours of burn in ...

Should be coming out this 15th, pricing to be confirmed!

Hi chua, how's your component? Is it the leg bengkok already? The unit were shipped to me with this packaging, then It was in good condition so I ship out like that with bubble wrap wrapping the whole thing. so sorry!

I think best person to answer might be stormspider cos last time he quite frequent to yuheng's house last time, dunno currently la! He can bring over ZERO with OPA earth to do head to head review with BOA testing the analog output cos ZERO's head out is no fight to BOA's

If the stock ZERO dac's SQ is about the same with stock Boa is about the same, then prepare fork out to some money for the discrete opamp, definately worth a shot, my ZERO is getting better with it

Oh ya, those who received the USB to coaxial converter please do post your comment here, either it's sound bright or warm, I'm not kidding, converter does sound bright or warm too, i tried 2 different converter before, my former one is warm and depth, while the current on is bright, crisp and PRaT!

If these comments are valid, then we should be glad for having ZERO! The OMZ 4.1 reported to be way better than stock Benchmark DAC-1 which costs around RM3k, having 90% performance of the OMZ, we should be really glad!
