what is your F3 temp?
i am using tt big typhoon vx
*
Mine full load around 47C to 49C.
Idle around 29C to 31C

Maybe my room's temp is kind of hot.The temp i mentioned is w/o any casing.(naked).
It will be hotter if i put my stuff in a case.
The temp using a case almost reach 57C which is not really good for me to run 24/7 365 days.

straight away remove the IHS already  brows.gif
but... dunno they solder the IHS to core or just put some thermal paste material there for this F3 proc. laugh.gif

p/s: rumours say with proper mod , you can increase the L2 cache from 2 x 512kB to 2 x 1MB  drool.gif
*
Great db,hope you can find it out. biggrin.gif
I am so happy if my F3 runs 2 X 1MB.

Thousands apologies  notworthy.gif

From what i've read,

1) The integrated gc performance is 3X better than 690G chipset  icon_rolleyes.gif
2) Can increase the gaming performance up to 76% when crossfireX with a ATi Radeon 3400 series gc
3) Power saver, performance increment , multiple displays supported
4) After overclocked , gained more than 20% gaming performance
5) Low power consumption , Low CPU Usage, Low temperature
6) Support several types of video decoding (hardware acceleration) such as VC-1 , MPEG-2 ,H.264
7) Support display port ( i also dunno what is this  sweat.gif )
8) Stable ...last longer ...blar blar blar  laugh.gif

The rest are comparison with other integrated gc such as G35, Q35.  laugh.gif

Thanx db for the translations.I think i am gonna take this after i grab xixo's TA690G.

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jan 22 2008, 07:40 PM)
normal integrated gc share a portion of system memory for graphic processing
results of that , slow in graphic processing
also, it will slightly affect your pc performance due to the shared memory
(Well, Super Pi 1M runs slower 0.3s compare to those who use external gc  laugh.gif )
With dedicated graphic memory, it's now more likely an external gc.
The graphic processing will be done by the integrated GDDR directly instead of sharing memory from the system.
However you still can choose to share your system memory to the integrated gc.
The 780G with GDDR is more likely a Geforce 6200 with turbo cache in those days  laugh.gif
*
Now i got it. smile.gif
Well,i didn't much realize for the superPI with or without GC.
IMO the 780G is more better than the Geforce 6200 with turbo cache.
I said that because i did some benchies where Geforce 6200 run lower result @ 3D mark 06 than the TA690G.
Meaning that,IF the 780G is 3 times better than the TA690G,well it means more better compare to the Geforce 6200.

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jan 22 2008, 07:48 PM)
not really, at least to me.
i found that no different when oc my ram with / without external gc plug into my TA690G.
But it affects the pc performance , super pi 1M running slower with integrated gc on.  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Thanx for the new info man.I didn't really know about this at all.Maybe i just too crazy to get 22.+++ secs superPI. tongue.gif

GDDRII is for the on-board Graphic.
As what db mentioned earlier, its 3 times more better graphics than the TA690G.
