currently i'm using corsair value ram 1G 667mhz, anyone knw this ram able to oc as well? If i buy another brand ram same 667mhz issit ok? they both can work well?

If wan to dual the ram .. normally 2 ram must hv same chipset , clock , brand .

ur ram u hv to try it and rum the ORTHOS or SUPER_PI

if got error then cannot

Normal value ram can oc to not more then 10%

Corsair value RAM?

Can do 890Mhz 5-5-5-15-26 @ 2.1v on my PC but cold boot everytime i start PC.. Must use clockgen to obtain that..

I tested so many value ram.. I can say Corsair the worst 1..

Only good thing is that it can achieve tight timing on lower clock..

Self-experience.. Maybe not be accurate/true..

btw, wat proc did u use?

mine KVR hynix can get DDR800 5-5-5-15-21 @ 2.0v.... Can this ram pumped with more than 2.1v?

my kvr is on 2.25v daily, it's all down to u whether u wanna feed 'em more juice or not. with active coolin ~2.2v should be ok for 24/7. while benchin i even pumped 2.45v...

Shouldnt be a problem at 2.1v. Just dont go higher than that without active coolong =D

Mine have to use 533 until 270fsd at stock vdimm. Higher than that either lower divider or more vdimm.

i tried also 2.3v on my hynix

can do ddr 900

no active cooling...because when i touch the rams...not hot at all

hv u try the beta modded bios b4 ???

Becareful man ...wrong or fail flash the beta bios will coz ur pc wont boot

then have to RMA or hotflash the bios

As stated.. 2.1v vdimm..
I think any value ram also can do 800mhz easily.. Of course with overclockable mobo...
My processor is Brisbane 4000+ ...
