QUOTE(FuiLo @ Jan 25 2008, 12:55 AM) Sifus out there can anyone explain to me what is the last setting i mean MCP65 to AM2 Link? Is it sumthing to do with the Hyper Transport? choose 16 up 16 down for better performance MCP65 is referring your mobo chipset edited: am2 means the proc. So the whole thing means chipset to proc link 16 bit both ways mean your chipset to proc link has larger bandwidth compare to 8 bit both ways This post has been edited by dblooi: Jan 25 2008, 01:20 AM |

The LE 1600 /1620 definitely build for Super Pi benching. Single core <=== ( easier to oc) 1MB L2 cache <== ( run faster than 2x512kb for sure) |

[attachmentid=387087] [attachmentid=387088] anyway the 10x multiplier one 2500MHz only ar? but nvm ... i get a rough picture of that already looks like it's the same memory performance that we will get, thanks again |

QUOTE(mizivincible @ Jan 25 2008, 10:09 PM) Cartack is dominating the 4000+ liao actually i not really sure as i use stock speed ( or underclocked clock speed) for daily usage Added on January 25, 2008, 10:10 pm Yeah bro, if try 1000 above and what should we do to feel the difference ? But experience tell me that 1200 HTL runs 0.1sec faster than 900HTL in super Pi 1M This post has been edited by dblooi: Jan 25 2008, 10:42 PM |

QUOTE(nadeng1987 @ Jan 25 2008, 10:21 PM) Talking bout Ht link, last time i boot 1240(310X4) my old sata hard disc kong. Since then never tried above 1000Mhz woo.. some guys claim that hardisk kong after oc HT link how it kong? Hardisk cannot use anymore? Or system file corrupted? What kinda file system that you are using? NTFS or FAT32? sometimes unstable oc can cause this (system file corruped), after u change back to stock speed then everything is good But for FAT32 , it's damn troublesome sometimes ( may lead to hardisk kong as you mentioned earlier) and i believe that it's not HT link oc that cause that, it's probably your overclock is already out of the hardware's limitation ( your proc, mobo or ram ) check this out, 1800MHz HT Link on a K8 proc. my hardisk still damn healthy until now This post has been edited by dblooi: Jan 25 2008, 10:34 PM |

QUOTE(za_az @ Jan 25 2008, 10:39 PM) ![]() My current oc-ed edited = and another question, there 2 temp kinda strange at speedfan there, at 127C I think you have to lower down your HT Link soon. I could never get anything higher than 1300 HTL when i was using TF7050-M2 anyway, try push more 2500MHz mar |

QUOTE(beast921 @ Jan 26 2008, 01:16 PM) hey guys, Well, first of all , you have to ask yourselfI need some suggestion or opinion regarding about Liquid Cooling. Yesterday just got my 3800+ windsor F3 bought from xixo_12 so I were thinking to go beyond 3.6Ghz with it. So currently I'm still decide which board & Liquid Cooling system that able perform such task. I have read up about Thermaltake Big Water 735 & 745 dan CoolerMaster Aquagate from some forum & reviews about them. I have to say that I dont really favor them based from the reviews. So, if any of you guys have a better suggestion on which water cooling system that I should look up into, I would appreciate it. Please dont suggest me to get a CoolIT Freezone. as my budget is not huge (roughly around RM450). what can I get with Roughly RM400-500? just for liquid cooling system. You need the watercooler for short benching or you need it for long term usage? I assume that your target is to overclock to 3.6GHz above. Sorry to say but i don't think normal watercooler capable to push the clockspeed to that high. We are using chilled water cooling in order to get 3.7GHz above. and that definitely cannot be used for long term. (Impossible to top up ice every few minutes for weeks right? For chilled water cooling , that's less expensive as you don't have to get whole set of watercooler. You need a pump , a waterblock and two tubes , that's all. Strong and cheap pump can be obtained easily from fish shop. submarine pumps are recommended for chilled water cooling For waterblock, get any moderate above level waterblock will do. You can try to seek for those jet impingement waterblocks. Pressurized water flow in the mini channel and definitely you get enhanced cooling performance Some says isolation is a must for chilled water cooling, but for me i don't think so. Just let the motherboard stand 90 degree and i doubt that any condensed water can make contact with your motherboard. ( The method was demonstrated by bro DJ.ericzzz a while ago) Of course, you can always go for whole set of water cooler for long term, and take off some parts for chilled water cooling when needed. In that case, you can have a look at swiftech store. Their waterblocks and pumps are well-designed and performance proved (Especially the D5 pump , lord of all pumps Basically can forget about C**lermaster and Th**malt*ke watercooling products The price for product is high end but the quality / performance is...ahem ahem |

Set back the jumper, the same prob happen when HTT is 250. Why? what is the ram chipset for your ram?try to loose the trfc sub timings 75NS is too tight for most of the ram chipsets after oc |

QUOTE(nadeng1987 @ Jan 28 2008, 06:15 PM) Stil cannot boot eventho loose trfc to 325ns and all. Why is it that i cannot use 667 divider?? Bios maybe? using 605 rite now. Any suggestion guys? it's your ram bro..why don't you show a highest stable oc SS? CPU-Z and memset together. Easier to figure out what's the problem. I'm very very very sure that TA690G 605 bios has no problem with 667 divider check this out, 12XXMHz is achievable with TA690G 605 bios 667 divider edited: glad to see that you've solved the problem maybe some default sub timings / ram settings are too tight already for 605 bios. they have loosen them in later bios This post has been edited by dblooi: Jan 28 2008, 08:26 PM |
