F2 at 2.8ghz is consider good. I guess that's the max for MOST F2 and the one sempronic had last time was a gem, he reached 3.0 with his F2 tho. Bro raining, enough I guess for your F2, even if you change your mobo the gain isnt that significant. Like you said, might as well change the whole system, so, what are you waiting for

wat is mizivincible say is right. change new mobo oso cannot let proc oc higher. most of the f2 proc reach wall round 275 to 280 fsb
my 4200+f2 allmost reach wall at 3.025g with 275x11
So enuf if u can get it around 2.8g
If u wan go higher change the whole system is the best choice

here is what i have been up to so far

initially i tried 295x9.5 but my pc rebooted when running 3dmark06. so i settled for 285x9.5=2707.7 instead. didnt have to raise any voltage except for the nb voltage by just a bit. my settings are as follows.

do i need to be worried about my load temperatures now? my cpu is reaching 55degC on load but if thats the max, i dont really mind, coz most of the time i wont be using it on load anyway.

as mentioned earlier, my setup

AMD Athlon64 X2 3600+ AM2 Brisbane with stock cooler.
Biostar T-Force TA690G AM2 (bios is 06/05/07)
2GB Kingston Value RAM DDRII 667 (Dual Channel) both hynix FP-Y5
CoolerMaster eXtreme Power 430W



will let orthos run until tomorrow to stress the cpu now for some game time benchmarks =D

btw, thanks to everyone who helped me out. (ill be back if i find out my OC is not stable or maybe i wanna try hit 3.0GHz later when im free.
