Thanks for the players' support and sponsors' support, the first INTI eSports Tournament in Year 2008 has ended successfully with the participation of 48 teams. The attendance at the venue itself reached 300 people on day one and also attracted a lot of spectators on day two.

All the teams did their best to beat their opponents in a high sporting spirit. There were no swearings, no 'asking your mother', no offenses committed by the participants. The only thing that came close was punctuality. There were 2 teams that were nearly disqualified due to lateness and there were 2 teams that were disqualified on the Top16 round for being unable to wake up for the tournament.

Besides that, we would love to apologize to those players, marshals and helpers that did not get the T-Shirt due to lack of T-Shirt. I'll reprint the shirt and pass them to you guys, if possible. Thank you for all the help that you guys provided and we really appreciate that. P/S our marshals played starcraft, C&C3 and CS during the tourney, and did not do their jobs properly. ehem =P

Another thing is SMM provided us 3 War3 battle chests to give out to the winners and we would love to apologize to SMM for the misunderstanding and thanks for all their support. Special shoutout to Lim, Aaron and Underminer who helped me a damn lot to make this event possible =)

Off topic a bit, I do agree with aegis`opinion. This tournament also is not the first large scale inter-college tournament as APIIT did it before for few times.

Nevertheless, I support your tournament and wish all the best to the organizing team.

About Samsung girls, it's up to Samsung themselves. It's out of our control. Hmm we won't be that strict but as long you can present some sort of student ID, it'll be okay.

@ Flizzardo - This has nothing to do with racism. This tournament is open to all students only due to college's request.

@ Chapree - I know about the Apiit thing also. Nevertheless this would be a big one =)

@ Clanton - It's up to the teammates to decide who gets the phone. Maybe the person who gets the phone cannot take cash adi or something. Up to them.

Erm 2 more question pls....i got 1 teammate currently study at apt hair academy but the academy does not have any student id for student so how he gonna register?
And we got 4 student + 1person working can the 1 who is working join?

Just get any documents that can prove he is a student there. I'm afraid the working person cannot join if he's over 22 years of age. Is it possible for you to find another teammate? Thanks.

Congratulations on your initiatives for organizing such an event.

However, noticed that the event is named "Inti eSports Tournament 2008" although it was also stated that additional games will be added in the future tournaments (meaning 2009?).

Then, it would be more appropriate that the event have a more specific name such as what other forumers would suggest eg "Inti Dota Tournament 2008" or etcs.

Just as if u are organizing a badminton tournament with an intention of adding more games like table tennis or football in the upcoming years, it's awkard to name such event as "Inti Olympics Games" or "Inti Sport Tournament 2008" while only one game is offered currently.

The event is also being titled as "eSportS" and not "eSport" and spectators are more likely to be missed lead of more than one game titles being offered.

In the nearest available future, where 2 or more game titles being offered, the word of eSports would be more appropriate and more convincing.

Just my suggestions, however, I do hope the very best for you and your organizing committes in making this event a success.

Noted with thanks. Erm, of course not. It'll ruin the game's balance and why would you wanna buy a ring of health and give it to your teammate? Items sharing is not allowed in all the tournaments.

For example, 2 person in a lane. Person A's HP has gone very low, so the person B lends the rings to A so that A can regen. After the HP recover much, den A return the ring to B.

Nop. You may do it in pub, but not in a tourney.

Well, since item aboves can be transfered, then y can't the sharing of item such as rings?

Yes you can. If you are a student, there's no age limit. Age limit are for those who still waiting for results/waiting to enter another college.

If you are a college/uni student, you should have student ID/card. Fail to present student identification means you are not studying or you are studying at sec school that doesn't provide student card. In this case, refer to the age group of 17-22. If you are within this age range, you are allowed to participate. Because we believe some people might be waiting for results or waiting to enrol in another institution.

I have a team ready.. and i can pay almost instanly with full permission from my team... but myself as a leader is legally this year 17... after SPM and waiting for results...

I cannot send in student ID/ libary card because i destroyed my student ID and libary card during form3.. soo..i do not have legal prove except for report card and IC.. can i bring original I/C to you? when i make the payment... if possible dont ask me to bring my report card.. >< it is bad...

The estimated account is in a break-even status. We don't earn anything, in fact if we don't get enough participants, we are still in debt. Mind you, there are a lot of things to cover such as PA system, booths, canopies, Tshirt printing, banner printing, booklet printing and such, If you suspect we are earning heaps of money, I'm sorry to tell you that you are WRONG.
