My problem is that I want to split my Astro audio to 1) TV and 2) HiFi . HiFi is for listenining to Astro's radio without switching on TV. I now use a pair of splitters ( normal RM2/- types).
Problem is the audio volume drops (by half?) for both TV and HiFi.
Any suggestions to "Normalize" the volume to original level?

Seriously guys, just buy a wireless transmitter and decoder. I used to pull cables and split in my old house. After i moved to my new place, i use a wireless receiver/transmitter....the quality is way better than cables and i can use my ASTRO remote from any of the receiving station TV upstair!!

Only RM2xx for 1 transmitter and 2 receivers...bought it from a forumner here.

I don't think it'll work well with Astro Beyond, just standard Astro, coz it only accept composite input.

Yes, me too also fed-up with cables, after the latest incident where the inter-connect cable from upstair to downstair rosak, I bought this wireless solution from "baxokp".

I'm happy with the quality and the best thing is can also remote control rclxms.gif

Hi

Currently my HD TV is linked to ASTRO decoder via the S-video output. The ASTRO cable is linked to the decoder through the normal wall outlet. Lately the family decided to redo the living room and this then changes the HD TV location to another part of the living room where there is no wall outlet for the ASTRO cable and my family doesnt want to hack the walls to conceal the cable nor patch them on to the wall or ceiling as it would make the living room unsightly.

Can anyone recommend a wireless device where I can connect the HDTV via SVideo and also receive signal from the ASTRO decoder if I am to leave the decoder where it is currently located?

Thanks
AstroCreep

I would like to know if the antenna can be taken out and extended via some sort of cable? The reason I ask this is because just in case I want to place the transmitter and receiver in a closed TV cabinet, I still can place the antenna outside of the cabinet for better reception.
