Added on January 26, 2008, 2:08 amdam already found out 1 thg bad about CM690... its the LED infront.. basically the System LED is blue color and HDD LED is red...

then the blue color is tooooo bright until cover up the red color... so the read is very very light only... so both looks like blue color instead of blue & red... damn

grill broken, which part?? i dont think so wor coz i check everythg already b4 buy and when i fixing it also no problem. its new from box 1.. if broken i wont buy already... pointless to get a good casing which is broken even its cheap..

Hey u guys know where in KL can buy the dust filter? Can be the plastic type or the cushion type. Wanna buy it a big piece like manila card, then only cut out what i need coz i want to filter up as much holes as i can in the casing, especially fan holes, so that it is as dust free as possible.

Ohya, just note that on the CM690 box is printed this (the pic below), so basically CM690 have afew types, so buyer can always check from the box

RC690-KK1-GP = shud be top IO panel
RC690-KK2-GP = shud be front IO panel
with window = with side window panel, else dont have (but those no panel have 1x 120mm fan hole above the CPU/chipset
and the rest is bundle with power supply.

hmmm i heard from ppl that if u watch movies from 22" it will be terrible... especially with those movie files of 700mb and those .rmvb file which 300mb+...... only movies above 1.4gb is okay... and if u get 22" means ur native res will be 1600x1050 and u might hope u can play game on ur native to get nicer graphic so u need really really good card.... new GTS or SLI GT... coz im using my graphic card to play with 19" with quadcore and there is still lag in some game with max settings at 1440x900.........

400x9 450x8??? wats that... CPU FSB x multiplier? using 1440x900. playing gears of war at my spec max settings, anyway wat driver is the best now for vista? 171.16 beta? ohya im using vista to play all new games.

Added on January 28, 2008, 10:20 pmyalo yalo sit near is bad, can see the bad quality image from 700mb movie... even the TVB series is terrible on my 19" already, unless i dont sit on the chair infront of my com... too bad im living in small room.. so i think 22" wont be so suitable for me.

yes it is indeed sexier than in photo....... coz last time i plan to get lianli PC-G7B and ppl keep recommend me CM690 but i told them not my taste after looking at the pic... but since the time i saw it when my fren bought it... i fall in love with it... hehe so i get it too .. pretty good casing with good airflow... but certainly there are rooms for CM690 to be better

diff ppl have diff taste... to me is very nice but i dont know how it is to u.... but if u feel not nice then why it is just beside u now... .... u can sell to "nelienuxe_sara" haha he want..

haha ya relax... think optimistic about it.... only 1 broken... not both..... still consider lucky... from another perspective..

yes thundermatch service abit bad..... my fren have a MSI 7900GT 256mb and spoil within 2 months, then he get back to thundermatch to claim warranty, they told him will take 1month and max 2 month... so my fren waited for 1½month and call back and they say will check and call back, so when reach 2 month, my fren called again and they said the person incharge about his card wasnt there now, in holiday, then again they said will call back ASAP, so my fren waited 2 weeks more and 2½month reach so my fren call up once again. so they check and they said "oh sry we have send the card to wrong supplier and now we are waiting the supplier to return us the card and will send back to the correct supplier", then my fren was like, WTF they need 2½months to realise they send back to wrong supplier. So end up waited for 4 months only get back..... pity him coz by the time he loses 4 month of his card... the card price drop alot... wasted

actually my 2 of my fren bought 2 7900GT from them, one ppl each and both of them spoil within 1 year.... no oc... the 2nd card spoil after 11month and go back warranty.. luckily this time only 1½month coz my fren called them up every week to check status and rush them. so basically they already gave me the bad impression and i dont really like the worker there in lowyat 2nd floor, thier worker kinda lazy and kinda dont wanna serve. they wont bother u when u walk near their stall and see thier pricelist/item displayed until u have to personally ask them..
