Ressitance of the steering is really really an issue one must addressed to drive correctly with realfeel. The MMG mod and FSR mod would need least resistance since default resistance is too high.

It goes to show that you know where and how to sort the problem. I always know that it's a matter of time before you sorted out the slow pace issue.
*
On the other hand, when u thought uve solve something....another prob arises, as ive encountered last nite...too twitchy off the corner and too slow mid corner (Didnt have this the day before lol). And i would think it can be caused by too sensitive steering (still) and throttle sensitivities too low. Or it could be exit diff (power) is too low so it oversteers out of the corner having me crazily trying to correct it which i might wrongly take it as twitchiness?

Arggh....not enuff time and been too tired during testing this week...office workload is building up. I might just take the backseat and do a conservative pace and be safe tomorrow. PCcrazy is too fast and consistent here anyway.

You got pace issues, you want me to believe your politics? laugh.gif

Anyway, at some tracks sometimes somebody gets the right formula quickly more than anyone else on the grid. It happen to me always so I played the race pace conservatively. It rewards you in unique way sometimes.

Twitchy, rear wing might solve the problem, but then you will suffer during acceleration and straights. Or stiffening the back end might work in some cases so that it harmoniously followed the front.
But I think you have tried all that but to no avail. Maybe it's just the caster issues. I dunno, it could be several combinations as well.

Dont u trust me??innocent.gif

It happens to everyone....u cant get the track at the same effort and amount of time everytime. Although some learn it faster than the others, but getting is later is not really a disadvantage, although those who got it early can play with variables and strengthen the pace and consistency.
Even if im fastest or slower than the others, I always do wut i do in practice. In a way, i never race conservatively, or aggresively. I just do my pace and try to keep it at maximum as much as i can. Coz during practice, i taught my muscles, the controls and the car the way and programming it, so i wont give them a suprise move which they dont recognise. In return they might give you a 'suprise' as a return e.g. the car acting weirdly or just go off the track coz it couldnt recognise the new thing u want to tell it to do.
In short, i do in race, wut i do in practice. If i need to do something new in races, i'll make sure i made the mental prep to accept any outcome and i wont hesitate.

My wings are pretty much settled with i think. Im getting enough speed at the straights and enough grip around corners...but its the handling prob. sigh. Caster might do it too i think. Dont want to go to much or it'll give too much steering resistance. Well....need to test it which requires time...which i dont have...LOL

Madnor will come back hard in Zandvoort...mark my words.

Wakaka....of course la blood rushing and excited coz its soo much fun! The anticipation and all...but I learn to convert that energy, nervousness into something else like focus and concentration. These two are imprtant to me. Coz If ure anxious, worried or nerveous, u will tend to do mistakes. Personally i will find the cause of worries and plot a solution and keep my mind on that so ure thinking of that instead of worrying.

We are all here coz of our core passion to race. But there is only one piece of tarmac per corner, 20 racers. Hohoho. Incidents are sometimes unavoidable and sometime are avoidable. I always think like my nearest rival on track...such as wut he would do if i do this...or that.

Im on my backfoot in Valencia. Im too obsessed getting my sensitivities rite and my ride perfected but fail to increase my pace here. But Ive learn some valuable curves and corner characteristics of this track. Not much time left so tonite i'll just shakedown wuteva i have and try to make the best out of it.

See you all on track tonite!

ya..gotta agree i alwez get worry when something goes wrong technicaly on my wheel, but that was unpredictable..and nervous whenever an opponent chasing from my back.. learning to convert all that like u do smile.gif gotta take me sometime..

i had learn some new stuff lately, how to adjust the best gear ratio to suit different track.. it feel good when da time goes better, like valencia there like only one long straight, i push all da gear ratio to front to have better acceleration and ya it might slow down me to get to top speed but hell i only need the 6th on da one long straight, its rewardin on the other sector n corner smile.gif good accel speed help me gain better exit speed, that does help me shakedown sometime.. i know these may not sound fresh to u guy smile.gif just sharing my thought what i had learnt which help me alot.

Behind car must be careful, but having said that, the front car must behaved as well. Not to weave unnecessarily and test brake anybody. Overall great job MSR in organizing such a wonderful event.

Simple,

As long as you are in front the track is all yours. But there can be only one blocking move to deter your opponent from taking the best line into turn like what I did in Ocshersleben first corner into the race which cause the havoc tongue.gif . The person who decides to overtake you must realized that he is blocked and should find other route because you have already choose your route. And the person behind must be careful (not to get horny) because the braking judgment has to change since the car is braking at different places all the time depending on the route the person in front chooses every time the following car prepares to overtake.

As for the person in front if the car behind manage to get side by side, I mean really side by side, you both have the rights to the corner. I mean you must run in parallel to each other. The person inside has rights to the inside kerb (apex) but no rights to outer kerb and the person outside has no rights to the inside kerb (apex) but has rights to the outside kerb.

In case where one car is clearly half a car length and having no difference in speed (0 km/h - 3 km/h relative difference ie no shockwave phenomena will occur ), then that front car should have all access to the track or corner.
