For those who r thinking of upgrading their GC, Im selling off my x1950gt for rm325...special price for MSRians, 3 months old, brand new is rm405.

Played at 1440 * 900 with very nice fps....runs 30-40 fps at starts....and can go up to 100-130 fps everywhere else...dx9 everything on full except AF 2x AA Level 2 Opponent on medium and Shadow blur off.

Its true....2 laps felt like forever. Knowing that we all just came from F1. FSONE cars although demands high level of concentration, given a good setup, it is fairly obedient and responsive. Fighting with the FSONE car is not really a good way to do it. The less u fight with it, the more time u gain. Personally my FSONE setting for FFB also fairly soft...just giving me hints of whats the car doing is enough.

With the BMW its true that i seem to be fighting the car abit more coz its less responsive and less obedient (again, just coming from F1). Im still fine tuning my FFB and controllers rates and sensitivity to get the most feedback of the car. At 100% brake pressure, u can really feel the brakes with 100% RZ Axis sensitivity...Im working down from there....going along with my bias and braking style setting....Contrary to what PCcrazy told me, i cant get trail braking to work with this car yet. As u can see last nite while following me for 8 laps.

I think the connectivity probs suffered by most game servers now and VPN providers are also affecting fragnetics.

As far as i know TM havent released a detailed explaination of things except 'we are having problems' if u call their hotline.

Theres a file where u can just change ur credits...so no prob....let us know when u finally spend all ur 900k on saman. LOL

Ive found a perfect analogy for it....

U can jump to other player cockpit (+ - buttons) and find the last guy. If hes clear, then u can go. But I know most track gives a green light in the pit if youre ready to go no?

Transitioning from a super fast FSONE to a relatively slow BMW is of course at first, a strange feeling. But soon enough I realised that it is not about going fast, (which of course FSONE is faster). It is about going QUICKly around a course. And to go quick has a multitude of challenges for a different type of car (or mod).

Personally, my take on tin-top is that first, the amount of grip available is much lesser than any open-wheeler....This alone requires a different driving style (Load transfers differently and have a different character in a tin-top car), just because most tin-top have a higher center of gravity and ride height than any open wheelers too.

These are just few things that i think, differentiate tin-tops to open-wheelers. Personally, going quickly in any tin-top is just as rewarding as doing the same thing in any open wheelers. Throwing the car into the corner, stays flat (or maybe at the very limit of the friction, or going over it) at the mid corner...and slamming it on the exit and see what beast u have to handle. Its a challenge of its own...its a different animal. Slower....doesnt mean that its easier.
