hi guys..
i'm currently using my trusty australian Ashton axe...urm..
nth special, just a strat bodied with 2 humbs and a single...
serves me well..and is my 1st guitar too..4yrs of age...
and i always love the les paul..(who doesnt!) lol..

from wht my thread title states, i couldnt afford the Gibson or the epiphone..
ahha..i went to ckmusic to purchase my multis last month and saw the LP replicas
from Craftmans...

they do look good!
anyone own them or tried them?..mind sharing if its worth buying?
of cuz it wont sound like a LP but...one of their higher-ends model LPs is fitted with the ceramic humbbiess...
looks tasty but nvr tried it...

thanks for dropping by this thread...
cheers!

I'll be curious to know how Craftsman stand against other brands of budget guitar, they do look good. But from personal experience a Samick Avion 3 is a great LP copy for about the same price, if you don't mind the slight body difference with a real LP.

Go for an SX copy, Craftsman don't use mahogany for the body.
Samick if its MIK then it would be a better choice if you don't mind the body cutting differing slightly from the real LP.

how much is the said guitar?

i'd agree with ongpohheng above and could personally vouch for the built quality of SX. bought an SX LP custom in 2006 and all it needed was a good servicing and you're ready to rock. you may not need to change the stock pickups.
