QUOTE(htkaki @ Aug 1 2008, 04:16 PM) Coda is good. Just that I need another pair for my rear surround to complete my 7.1 setup. Coda being assigned as surr speakers. HTkaki, Can you tell me how much did you set for each channel? How much did you set for the delay? Hope you don't mind in sharing. This post has been edited by moviebuff: Aug 1 2008, 09:55 PM

QUOTE(htkaki @ Aug 2 2008, 07:25 PM) Ok, do a snapshot of it. My HM accidentally tripped on my coffee table. My HD65 fell onto the carpeted floor. Luckily, it didnt spoil it. Else...... Sorry to hear about that accident. But, I m glad your HD65 is okay. Need your help, Htkaki. How did you get the dolby truhd to display on your RX-V1800 display panel? I seem to can't get it to display on my RX-V1800. I can get the dts-hdma to display on the panel. I m pairing my RX-V1800 with a Sharp bluray player. Using Monster 1000 HDMI cable for the hdmi connection. Went to hifi shop today. The hifi shop taukeh said my Sharp bluray player can't do the new 7.1 hd signal for my RX-V1800 to decode. Is there any truth ? Went to Sharp US website said their bluray player can do 7.1. The taukeh is selling Samsung bluray. He said his sammy can do 7.1.

QUOTE(htkaki @ Aug 4 2008, 08:58 AM) The ceiling aint sturdy enough to have a pj mounted. Thought of that too. Now, must banned HM from crossing the coffee table. Only couch area. The pj side is dented. Post the pic later. At the mean time, will install clamps with sponge at the coffee table. If trip also the pj only knocks the side and wont fall. Yesterday, went to a HT member pad. Fuyoo, using velo SPL-1200 with full B&W 700 series speakers (7 channels). Powered by AVR-3806 and Rotel mutli-channel power amp and a 2 channel power amp. Very nice room. The center channel is a bit lacking in terms of vocal reproduction. Very impressed with surround dispersion and the low thumping Velo SPL. moviebuff, some BDs are not encoded with Dolby TrueHD. Which Sharp model that you are using? The BDHP-20A? Htkaki, yeah, my bluray player is sharpBDHP-20A. Tested Andy Lau latest bluray concert on it. These disc carry dts-hdma track. The dts-hdma lit up on de display panel of RX-V1800. Tested Spiderman 3 bluray. Select dolby truhd 5.1 on the disc menu setup. The display panel on the RX-V1800 only display dolby digital. Don't know where went wrong. Saw your RX-V1800 panel displaying dolby truhd on one of the pic you posted here. Really need your help in these matter .

QUOTE(htkaki @ Aug 5 2008, 08:39 AM) I agree with aiman. Either one could be faulty. I will try to pop a Reg 1 DVD to test it tonight (if I have time) Htkaki, did you test the Sammy bluray player with std R1 dvd? Does it work? In oder to utilise all the seven speakers, I set the rx-v1800 Ext Surr to EX/ES. But, after I off the power, It reverse back to Auto. How to make it stay EX/ES?

QUOTE(aiman04 @ Aug 9 2008, 09:44 PM) Not really bro. My extended surrounds is always the way I set it. Even after I switched off the main power (though you can't disconnect the main power for more than 7 days, or the memory will reset). Do you have 7.1 setup? You'll need to have 7.1 in order for the extended surround to work. Yeah! I do have a 7.1 setup.
