I heard that autofoam can sound proof and strengthen chasis at the same time, it is also much more lighter than conventional soundproof material...

i don't know if it strengthen or make the chasis worse...
i've heard cases from other forums...that during impact, the force distribution of the chasis was altered after using autofoam... so what is your purpose? if you want soundproof..why not install dynamat? instead of putting autofoam? |

autofoam is good for sound proofingand strengthen your car chassis. even Hypertune noted that once accident happen, your car body reshaping is near impossible to reshape it.
Not really a good investment. |

Not really a good investment. |

Once I saw an autofoam in a spray bottle, DIY for car.. it's cheap. In fact, during that time, it was on clearance sale, rm5 per bottle. Ori price around rm30 something.. Yes. Its autofoam, where after sprayed, the foam will expand.Autofoam is effective as soundproofing, but very pricy |

the sound proof on autofoam won't be as good as dynamat. But if you combine both then it will be diff story. You can always check the KLAuto for further explanation. The boss is very friendly.
