Why do i see alot of people selling scraps of their 360s? power bricks, hdds, controllers, hd cables, drives, yada yada..

Was there a fad that i missed out on?

yeah, the 3ROD fad... damn, are u using the improved zephyr or a falcon? ure really missing out

Manufacturing Date After 31 - Oct 2007 are all confirm Falcon (TEAM : CSON) and of course the power bricks are all 175W instead of 203W)

As For Zeyphr Version 2 you have to check on the side of your xbox 360 and see does it have the extra heatsink.

i noticed my friends' CSON to be of a lower build quality than my FDOU. not to mention that CSON's tend to have more RROD back when gamestop was still accepting their orders

RROD affects 30% of xbox 360's. This number isn't official of course, it's a guesstimate on a lot of xbox forums. That isn't good, but it isn't as bad as some people paint it.
