its just not that 'tight'...a solid FPS should be just that...solid. Like Bioshock for instance, you can feel the weight of walking or running, and each blow or shot from a gun feels like it should..even though it's just a rumble on the pad.
i kinda laugh at FPS' which look nice but runs through like it's on ice. okay, during crouching you have that GoW roadie cam feel..but still it's just too..loose.
The guns don't feel solid...they're like arcadey and all...and true the knife is overpowered.
the gore too..is kinda childish. i mean yea there's blood and all..but the damage modelling on the human models..
and since they use Unreal engine..the dead bodies just fling around like locusts...but at least locusts were not glitchy.
the programming on the physics are so visually observable. like..the AI falls dead..when the animation stops, immediately physics kick in and the bodies jump around like dead fish..
ah well...it was enjoyable anyway..but something i won't look out for.
now where's my GTA 4 demo?????!!!!!!
